Although the death rate from industrial accidents in Korea continues to decline, the overall accident rate has been steadily increasing since 2018 and remains higher than that of foreign countries. In this context, various types of industrial accidents related to occupational safety and health can occur in the hotel industry. This study analyzed the discourse on the Hotel Occupational Safety and Health Act through unstructured big data. 2,943 keywords were collected through Naver and Google, and 60 keywords closely related to the hotel Occupational Safety and Health Act were confirmed as analysis targets. As a result, first, first, diverse keywords recognized by the hotel Occupational Safety and Health Act such as ‘management’, ‘industry’, ‘public’, ‘law’, ‘industrial accident’, ‘education’, ‘occupational health’, ‘Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency’, ‘construction safety’, ‘check’, evaluation’, ‘international cooperation’, ‘professional technology’, ‘service safety’, ‘information exchang’, ‘private organizations’ were extracted. Second, as the result of the CONCOR group analysis, four clusters were clustered. The four clusters were ‘preventive management and management’, ‘field violations and responsibilities’, ‘management consignment and education’, and ‘information disclosure’. Based on these findings provided various academic implications that can be used as basic data in the field of hotel human resource management and practical implications that can be applied to management manual related to the hotel occupational Safety and Health Act in the practice of the hotel industry.

The purpose of this study is test to the structural relationships of emotional leadership of the supervisor's and supervisor's trust, job satisfaction, organizational loyalty in the hotel industry. To accomplish the goals, a field survey was conducted on the employees' of deluxe hotels in the Seoul area. The statistical tools to be undertaken in this research were frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and covariance analysis using the statistical package of SPSS (18.0) and AMOS (18.0). The results of this study could be summarized as follows: First, the emotional leadership(self-management, self-awareness, relationship management) has a positively affects the level of hotel employees' supervisors' trust. Second, the emotional leadership(self-management, self-awareness, relationship management) has a positively affects the level of hotel employees' job satisfaction. Third, the emotional leadership(self-awareness, relationship management) has a positively affects the level of hotel employees' organizational loyalty. Fourth, the supervisor's trust has a positively affects the level of hotel employees' job satisfaction. Fifth, the supervisor's trust has a positively affects the level of hotel employees' organizational loyalty. In the last chapter, the paper concludes with discussions and the managerial implications for effective personnel policies.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of service perception on hotel service quality, manners, accessibility, kindness, reliability and diversity on hotel user satisfaction and customer loyalty and to analyze the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. Based on these results, important factors in hotel service quality are presented implications for customer satisfaction and customer loyalty and practical improvement directions are presented. The sample was selected from a five-star scale located in Seoul and the survey was conducted using a URL. The survey period was one month from January 2 to January 31, 2020 and a total of 221 questionnaires were analyzed. For the collected data the statistical program SPSS 23.0 was used and frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis and simple regression analysis were performed. As a result of the empirical analysis first, it was found that the perceived service quality of customers using the hotel, such as kindness, diversity, reliability, courtesy and accessibility, had an effect on customer satisfaction. Second, it was found that customer service quality such as kindness, diversity, reliability and accessibility had an effect on customer loyalty. Third, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty were found to be statistically significant. Based on the empirical analysis, the following implications can be predicted. First, since hotel service quality affects satisfaction and loyalty to hotel customers, service education should be provided for staff considering the service. Second, the hotel manager will ultimately achieve the management goal suggested by the hotel by making all employees aware of the importance of hotel service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in order to achieve the management goal.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of changes in the employment environment of hotel companies on the job stress and turnover intention of employees. For this study, a total of 280 questionnaires were distributed to hotel staff working at 8 first-class hotels in Seoul, and 275 valid samples were analyzed excluding uncollected and insincere answers. For the collected questionnaire data, the relationship between hypotheses established through correlation analysis using verification, factor analysis, reliability, and statistical program (SPSS 25.0) was verified. The results of analyzing the relationship between variables using frequency analysis, factor and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and simple and multiple regression analysis are as follows. All factors of changes in the employment environment were analyzed to increase job stress, and job stress was found to increase turnover intention. In addition, all factors of changes in the employment environment were found to increase turnover intention, and job stress was found to affect turnover intention, suggesting the need to reduce job stress. Therefore, in order to reduce job stress, it is necessary to remove the instability factors in the hiring of hotel staff and reduce job stress.

This study aims to verify the relationship between green self-image congruence, satisfaction, and Behavioral intentions verified in previous studies and to verify the structural relationship between all variables based on self-image congruence theory and the cognitive-affective-conative model. For empirical analysis, 249 samples were obtained from an online/offline survey for a month from June 5, 2022, for a month for customers who have visited the green hotel at least two times in the past year. Using IBM SPSS programs and IBM AMOS Ver.21 programs, the hypothesis was verified through demographic characteristics and confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural model analysis. The analysis results of the hypothesis test in this study are as follows. H2, H4, H5, H7, H8, H9, H10(a-c), and H11(a,b) have significant effect as supported. Especially H11b affective satisfaction has negatively significantly effect on sustainable consumption intention. But, H1, H3, H6, and H11c have no significantly effect as rejected. Through this analysis result, various aspects of eco-friendly behavior according to cognitive and affective satisfaction were verified and the relationship between different self-image congruence and satisfaction(cognitive and affective) was proved.

This study was conducted to analyze the impact of hotel reservation applications' selection attributes on customer satisfaction and revisit intention to provide useful marketing strategies. As making hotel room reservation by mobile applications has been widely spread, marketers want to develop the most fit ones for their customers. Online survey who used mobile application to make hotel reservation was conducted and 253 validated responses were analyzed to examine which factors made effectively impact on customer satisfaction and reuse intention. These results are based on research, and the outcomes are as follows: Price, contents quality, and system quality was positively influenced on customer satisfaction. Price, communication, and diversity was positively affected on customers revisit intention to application. According to the comparison among groups, above a group of fifties, most the their response score was lower than other groups. They gave especially low score in price, safety, satisfaction, and revisit intention. And customers use more online travel agency channels and gave higher score than direct hotel booking application. Also, customers who reserved 5 star hotels by application got more useful contents and felt safe in transaction than who reserved 1-3 star hotels. To make more customers satisfied and revisited, hotels and online travel agencies have to provide more enhanced experiences of hotel reservation application.

This study aims to examine the effect of organizational justice perceived by hotel employees' on work engagement, innovation behavior. In addition, The moderating effect of the organizational climate was verified in the relationship between organizational justice, work engagement, and innovative behavior. In order to achieve the research purpose, this study established a research model based on six research hypotheses derived from a theoretical review. Data was collected from 211 hotel employees' working at 4-star and 5-star hotels located in the area of South Korea. Due to the strengthening of social distancing, the survey was conducted in a way online. The findings are as follows: firstly, hotel employees' organizational justice positively and significantly affects work engagement. Second, the study found that interaction justice, distribution justice, and procedural justice positively and significantly influences innovative behavior. Third, work engagement positively and significantly influences innovation behavior. Fourth, the moderating effect examine the organizational climate was partially adopted in the relationship between organizational justice, work engagement, and innovative behavior. Based on these findings, the current study discusses practical suggestions regarding the importance of hotel employees' organizational justice.

This study focuses on the conditional value of hotel staycation consumers to examine how perceived conditional value influences consumers' positive emotions and psychological happiness. Further, it investigates how the positive emotions and psychological happiness experienced by consumers influences their willingness to pay premium prices. The samples of this study are consumers who stayed at seven five-star hotels selling staycation packages in Seoul, South Korea. Questionnaires were distributed from September 15 till August 5, 2022. A total of 272 questionnaires were collected, of which, 265 valid questionnaires were used for empirical analysis. Hypotheses were tested using SPSS WIN 27.0. First, study results showed that conditional value positively effects consumers' positive emotions and psychological happiness. Second, positive emotions and psychological happiness positively effects consumers' willingness to pay premium prices. Implications for practical marketing plans and strategies that can boost hotel staycations will be presented.

Research on self-awareness of occupation has been conducted in the field of psychology in general companies, but there are not many specific studies in the hotel industry. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relationship between organizational trust and career effectiveness in the hotel industry for self-awareness of jobs, that is, Career Anchor, and to seek effective management measures to increase the Career Anchor of employees. As a result of the analysis, first, Career Anchor's job stability has a positive effect on organizational trust and career effectiveness. Second, Career Anchor's work autonomy has a positive effect on organizational trust and career effectiveness. Third, the variable of Career Anchor's daily life has a positive effect on organizational trust and career effectiveness. The analysis of the results in this study may be generally natural results when we work in an industry or when we study academically. However, there are clearly few companies that actually thoroughly translate this into practice. It is always controversial by various internal and external corporate environments, including costs. However, as can be seen from the results of this study, what is certain is that the Career Anchor of employees who directly produce management performance is very closely related to organizational trust and career effectiveness.

The purpose of this study, the mediating effect of medical service value, behavioral intention, and medical service value of the type of medical tourism was analyzed. SPSS WIN on a 5-point Likert scale for domestic and foreign medical tourists from 10 general hospitals in Seoul. 326 copies (93.1%) of the 24.0 statistical analysis program were used as valid samples. As a result of empirical analysis, first, it was analyzed that medical tourism-type disease treatment, cosmetic/plastic treatment, and traditional treatment had a significant effect on the evaluation of medical service value, while recreational treatment did not. Second, the medical service value was analyzed to have a significant effect on the behavioral intention. Third, it was analyzed that medical tourism-type disease treatment, cosmetic/plastic treatment, and recreation treatment had a significant effect on behavioral intention, and traditional treatment did not significantly affect behavioral intention. Fourth, the medical service value, which is a parameter, was also found to be significant, and it was found to partially mediate the effects of disease treatment, cosmetic plastic treatment, recreation treatment, and traditional treatment, which are types of medical tourists. Therefore, it is judged that the higher the degree of recognition according to the individual attributes of medical tourists, the higher the perceived medical service value.

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the role of the hotel service environment in the relationship between the perceived need resolution and the self-efficacy and to present relevant implications, of Maslow's Need Theory and Pandemic's COVID-19 of Hotel Service Environment. First, as a sample hotel for this study, a 5-star K hotel was selected among hotels in the Yeouido area of Seoul. For the background, financial cost, time cost, and convenience of research were considered. Second, the response sample was Korean customers who stayed at least one night at this hotel between 2020 and 2021, during the catastrophic COVID-19 outbreak, and were specified in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. Third, the quota convenience sampling method was adopted as the sampling method. Fourth, the survey period and location were conducted from February 1 to February 28, 2022, respectively, in the breakfast room of the hotel. Fifth, a structured questionnaire was used for the survey, and a total of 150 effective samples were distributed, and 130 (87%) of the effective samples were used for analysis. Sixth, a 7-point Likert scale was adopted as the measurement scale. Seventh, for the measurement variables, 3 factors (4 questions for explanatory variables of hotel service environment, 5 questions for desire resolution, 4 questions for self-efficacy). Eighth, the analysis method used the SPSS 26 statistical program. Sample characteristics were approached by frequency analysis, validity evaluation by factor analysis and correlation analysis, reliability analysis by Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and hypothesis testing by regression analysis.

Developing a hotel or investing in the hotel markets requires a lot of initial capital. If developers or investors do not have a clear blueprint with regard to the dynamic and complex environments that can foster the potential market size, those capitals will not generate profits in time and proper returns as planned. This study tried to identify which environmental variables affect the size of the hotel industry market in Seoul, Korea, and present a standardized investment evaluation model accordingly. In order to identify valid environmental variables affecting the market size of the hotel industry, two-equation models have been established. Based on standardized models, differences in market size are defined by administrative districts in Seoul in terms of surplus or shortage for market potential.

The crisis in the hotel industry due to the prolonged COVID-19 is accelerating changes in the employment environment of employees working in the field. As a result, there is a growing need to find out how changes in the employment environment of companies caused by COVID-19 ultimately affect hotel employees. The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of changes in employment of hotel companies caused by COVID-19 and their intention to change jobs. To this end, an empirical analysis was conducted on employees of five-star and four-star hotels in Seoul. According to the results of the study, among the factors that change employment, reorganization and job competency change have a significant impact on job stress. In addition, the factor of reorganization was found to be a preceding factor affecting the intention to change jobs. Finally, job stress had a mediating effect in the relationship between employment change and turnover intention. In particular, reorganization factors were found to be an important factor between job stress and the intention to change jobs. Therefore, based on the research results, it is expected to contribute to the establishment of corporate operation strategies by presenting human resource utilization strategies for hotel companies in the post-COVID-19 era.

Infectious disease risk perception for hotels on travel attitude and switch intention of staycation was investigate. For the sample, online survey was conduct for adults 19 years of age or older who had travel experience from February 2020 to April 2022, and a total of 249 samples were analyzed. For the analysis of this study, exploratory factor analysis and regression analysis were performed using SPSS 20. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that physical, economic, social, and psychological factors in the perception of risk of infectious diseases for hotels significantly affected the switch intention of staycation. Second, the economic factors of the perception of the risk of infectious diseases for hotels was found to have a significant negative effect on the positive travel attitude. Third, the positive travel attitude was found to have a significant negative effect on the switch intention of staycation. As the implications of this study, it provides information on the introduction of contactless technology and safe hotel promotion.

This study aims to verify the relationship between green consciousness and pro-environmental behavior intention and other variables (perception image of green CSR, attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, willingness to sacrifice for the environment) verified in previous studies and to verify structural relationship between all variables based on theory of planned behavior. For empirical analysis, 333 samples were obtained from an online survey company for two weeks from Mar 10, 2022 for a month for customers who have visited green hotel for the past one year. Using the IBM SPSS Ver. 21 program and the IBM AMOS Ver. 21 program, the hypothesis was verified through demographic characteristics and confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural model analysis. The analysis results of the hypothesis test in this study are as follows. H1: CSR image was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on green consciousness as supported. H2: green consciousness was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on green behavior as supported. H3a,b,d: CSR image was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on attitude, subjective norm willingness to sacrifice for the environment as supported. but, not perceived behavior control as not supported of H3c. Also, H4a,b,d were supported. but not supported of H4c. And, H5a,b,c,d were all supported.

Service companies tried to find ways to reduce burnout and turnover intention by finding job stressors of employees for efficient human resource management. In addition, it was intended to prevent sabotage or deviant behavior by employees so that employees can concentrate on their jobs and prevent acts that cause damage to the company. However, recently, research on positive psychology has begun rather than research on these negative aspects. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the effect of hotel employees' occupational calling and psychological ownership on their job engagement and job performance. To achieve the purpose of this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted with hotel employees, and a total of 180 questionnaires were used for empirical analysis. As a result of factor analysis, occupational calling, psychological ownership, job engagement, and job performance were each classified into a single dimension. As a result of hypothesis testing, it was found that the occupational calling of hotel employees had a significant effect on psychological ownership, job engagement, and psychological ownership of hotel employees had a significant effect on job engagement, and it was verified that job engagement had a significant effect on job performance. In the end, it was studied that a sense of occupational calling and psychological ownership are necessary to increase job engagement and improve job performance of hotel employees.

As a result, first, first, diverse keywords recognized by the hotel Occupational Safety and Health Act such as 'management', 'industry', 'public', 'law', 'industrial accident', 'education', 'occupational health', 'Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency', 'construction safety', 'check', evaluation', 'international cooperation', 'professional technology', 'service safety', 'information exchang', 'private organizations' were extracted. Second, as the result of the CONCOR group analysis, four clusters were clustered. The four clusters were 'preventive management and management', 'field violations and responsibilities', 'management consignment and education', and 'information disclosure'. Based on these findings provided various academic implications that can be used as basic data in the field of hotel human resource management and practical implications that can be applied to management manual related to the hotel occupational Safety and Health Act in the practice of the hotel industry.

This study analyzed the cooperation model between hotels and websites connected to the supply chain using the owner-agent model. In this model, hotels determine room rates through competition, and websites charge fees by providing promotional efforts for hotels. As a result of the analysis, first, the demand of hotel guests increases as the degree of publicity efforts of the corresponding hotel increases, and decreases as the degree of publicity efforts of other hotels increases. Second, when a hotel directly operates a website, the two hotels determine the price and publicity efforts at the same level, and the market is divided equally. Third, when the hotel entrusts the website with its public relations efforts, the website does not make any publicity efforts for at least one of the two hotels. Fourth, when the commission for the website increases, the publicity efforts for the hotel are more diligent and the publicity efforts for other companies are reduced.. Fifth, if the sensitivity of the number of visits to the price and the sensitivity of the number of hotel guests to the hotel publicity efforts are sufficiently low, the higher the hotel price, the greater the company's public relations efforts and the less public relations efforts of other companies. Sixth, if the sensitivity of the number of visits to the hotel price and the sensitivity of the number of hotel guests to the hotel publicity efforts are sufficiently low, the higher the hotel price, the greater the company's public relations efforts and the lesser the public relations efforts of other companies. Based on the above research results, hotel companies determine the optimal price.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the changes in business performance based on the financial ratio analysis data by period of tourist accommodation business due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The target of this study were hotel and resort companies, which are tourist accommodation business, and the financial data of the analysis target were disclosed data from the DART. Using a total of 38 companies as analysis samples, 12 major financial ratio variables from 2019 to 2021 of the analysis companies were calculated, and empirical analysis was performed through corresponding sample t-test. As a result of the study, first, in terms of profitability, the decline and rebound of tourist accommodation business by period of COVID-19 appeared to be high, and compared to resorts, it was found that hotels did not recover to the level before COVID-19. Second, in terms of growth, the sales growth rate of hotels decreased significantly due to the outbreak of COVID-19, but it showed a remarkably rebound with COVID-19. As for resorts, the decrease in sales growth rate due to the COVID-19 outbreak was not significant, so the rebound is also not large. Based on the results of this study, implications for the future strategic direction of tourist accommodation business due to COVID-19 were presented.

This study aims to verify the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and the resulting variables verified in previous studies. Specifically, there are result variables in the positive aspects of job performance, job satisfaction, and job involvement, and there are result variables in the negative aspects of burnout, job stress, and turnover intention. Unlike the scale of organizational citizenship behavior used in previous studies, a scale developed to suit domestic hotel employees was used. For empirical analysis, in this study, a survey was conducted to evaluate organizational citizenship behavior and resulting variables for employees of 4-5 star hotels in Seoul. The survey collection of this study was conducted through a Google questionnaire, and it was conducted for two months from January 14, 2022. The analysis results are as follows. Voluntary behavior, Uncompensatory behavior, Behavior for organizational or peer support has significant effect on job performance. Voluntary behavior, Behavior for organizational or peer support, Behavior that enable the organization to remain in the current state has significant effect on job satisfaction. Voluntary behavior, Uncompensatory behavior, Behavior for organizational or peer support Behavior that enable the organization to remain in the current state has significant effect job involvement. Behavior unrelated to official duties, Uncompensatory behavior has significant effect job stress. Behavior unrelated to official duties, Uncompensatory behavior, Behavior for organizational or peer support, Behavior that enable the organization to remain in the current state has significant effect burnout. Behavior unrelated to official duties, Behavior for organizational or peer support has significant effect turnover intention.

In this study, the effect of overseas tour conductors' occupational calling on job engagement, customer orientation, and job performance was empirically studied. A survey was conducted for overseas tour conductors whose current occupation is an overseas tour conductor and who had experience leading overseas travel before COVID-19, and a total of 196 questionnaires were used for empirical analysis. As a result of the factor analysis, the occupational calling was classified into life purpose and meaning, pro-social value, and transcendental calling, and job engagement, customer orientation, and job performance were classified into a single dimension. As a result of the hypothesis test, it was found that transcendental calling, life purpose and meaning, and pro-social value, which are the components of occupational calling, all had a significant effect on job engagement and customer orientation. It was studied that job engagement had a significant effect on customer orientation and job performance, and that customer orientation also had a significant effect on job performance. In the end, it was studied that the occupational calling of overseas tour conductors increased job engagement, customer orientation, and improved job performance.
