Objectives: The study examines the effect of two symptoms elderly with dementia, problem behaviors and activities of daily living(ADL) and verifies the moderating effect of informal and formal support. Methods: Among dementia family caregivers in Daejeon and Sejong, 182 children, grandchildren, or others, who have supported the elderly with dementia for at least three months were selected. Then, the moderating effect was verified through hierarchical regression analysis. Results: As a result of verifying the moderating effect of informal and formal support on the burden of the caregivers, among formal support, short-term care services eased the burden of support while home-living care services increased the burden, and informal support did not show a significant effect. Conclusions: Based on the research results, the study suggests improvement in the utilization of short-term care services during formal support, improvement in contents of home-living care services for elderly, the need for customized systematic social welfare interventions considering the characteristics of the caregivers of dementia patients, and the necessity of dementia-related education for the caregivers including potential caregivers.

Methods: 431 were included in the analysis. Data analyses were conducted using SPSS 22.0, AMOS 21.0 and frequencies and other descriptive statistics, reliability and correlation analyses and testing the measurement model, performing path analysis to examine direct-indirect effects, and performing bootstrapping to test mediation effects. Results: First, The results showed that the revised final model adequately explained the path models. Happiness was directly influenced by self-esteem, parent-child communication, anti-consumption, parents' parenting and materialism. Second, In case the results on mediating effects, affection, reasonable explanations and self-esteem increased happiness via materialism, while abusive decreased happiness. Objectives: This study explores subjective perceptions to understand the types and characteristics of South Korean women in their thirties regarding baby boom generation mothers. Methods: Q-methodology was used to analyze the results. After constructing 128 Q populations through previous studies and interviews, 40 Q statements were extracted and 27 P samples were selected, followed by a Q sorting process. A principal component analysis was performed using a QUANL program. Results: Type 1 was 'comradeship and friendship', which pursues a lasting close relationship. Type 2 was 'healthy independence and self-respecting state of affairs. Type 3 was 'shared dream', which pursues independence with a passive-ambient attitude. It appears that Korean women in their thirties have different perceptions of mothers with different motives and backgrounds. The directions Korean women in their thirties pursue in relationships with their mothers, are different for each type. Conclusions: Through this study, it is meaningful to understand changes in intergenerational conflict within the socio-cultural scope of South Korea through differences in perceptions of mothers who are closely related in the lives of Korean women in their thirties, and to narrow the differences according to individual perceptions, which can provide rationale.

Objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate whether emotional regulation ability mediates the relationship between parent-child attachment and relational aggression in upper elementary school students who are at a transitional phase from childhood to adolescence. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on 322 fifth and sixth graders of A-city and U-gun in Gyeongbuk. Results: Emotional regulation ability is a major mediator that reduces relational aggression. In other words, Parent-child attachment is important, but it has been found that high emotional control ability can prevent or reduce children's relational aggression. Therefore, it can be seen that emotional control ability acts as a protective factor for relational aggression. Thus, education and intervention programs that improve emotional regulation ability, should be developed to prevent relational aggression. Conclusions: This study helps in the understanding of the relationship of various sub-factors of parent-child attachment with emotional regulation ability and relational aggression and presents foundational data for developing preventive and therapeutic interventions for relational aggression.

Objective: This study examined the influences of preschooler's emotionality on externalizing problem behaviors and investigated whether supportive coparenting had moderating effects on the relationship of preschoolers' emotionality and externalizing problem behaviors. Methods: Participants were 1452 preschoolers(746 boys, 706 girls) recruited for the Korea Child Panel Study. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlations, and the multiple regressions. The moderating effect of supportive coparenting was analyzed using the procedure proposed by Hayes(2013). Results: The results indicated that the level of preschooler's emotionality increases the level of external problem behaviors. In addition, supportive coparenting moderated the influence of preschooler's emotionality on external problem behaviors. Conclusions: This indicates that preschooler's emotionality had effect on externalizing problem behaviors, however, supportive coparenting can lower the effect of emotionality on externalizing problem behaviors.

Objects: This study examines the relations among five personality factors, the relationship with parents, and career identity on college students' career preparation behavior. This study also examines the mediating effect of the relationship with parents and career identity on the relationship between five personality factors and college students' career preparation behavior. Methods: The research subjects consisted of 151 college students (45 males, 105 females). They completed questionnaires consisting of five personality factors, the relationship with parents, and career identity on career preparation behavior. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. Results: The three personality factors (i.e., openness, neuroticism, and agreeableness), and communication with parents and career identity have a direct effect on college students' career preparation behavior. Trust and communication with parents partially mediated the relationship between two personality factors (i.e., neuroticism and agreeableness) and career preparation behavior. Career identity fully mediated the relationship between three personality factors (i.e., openness, neuroticism, and agreeableness), and career preparation behavior. Conclusions: These findings have implications for future research and practice by highlighting the importance of five personality factors and career identity on career preparation behavior for college students.
