This research was performed to study the effect of the Ni + Mo addition on the fatigue properties in 12Cr steel. After heat treatment of 12Cr steel and 12Cr-Ni-Mo steel, tensile tests, impact tests, hardness tests, and rotary bending fatigue tests were performed, respectively. The fatigue fracture surface was observed and analyzed using SEM and EDS. The fatigue limit of 12Cr steel was 554 MPa, which was 49 MPa higher than 505 MPa of 12Cr-Ni-Mo steel. Striations, which are the shape of the typical fatigue fracture surface, were observed at the fracture surface near the starting point of fatigue fracture in the 12Cr steel and 12Cr-Ni-Mo steel. However, unlike the case of 12Cr steel, 12Cr-Ni-Mo steel also had a mixed fracture surface with the fatigue and the ductile fracture surface. When brittle non-metallic inclusions exist near the starting point of fatigue failure, the crack propagation was further promoted and the fatigue life was drastically reduced.

The expansion of information sharing activities using online can increase the threat of information exposure by increasing the diversity of approaches to information within an organization. The purpose of this study is to present conditions for improving the information security compliance intention of insiders to improve the level of information security within the organization. In detail, the study applies the theory of planned behavior that clearly explains the cause of an individual's behavior and proposes a way to increase the compliance intention by integrating the social control theory and goal-setting theory. The study presented research models and hypotheses based on previous studies, collected samples by applying a questionnaire technique, and tested hypotheses through structural equation modeling. As a result, information security attitude, subjective norms, and self-efficacy had a positive influence on the intention to comply. Also, attachment, commitment, and involvement, which are the factors of social control theory, formed a positive attitude toward information security. Goal difficulty and goal specificity, which are the factors of goal setting theory, formed a positive self-efficacy. The study presents academic and practical implications in terms of suggesting a method of improving the information security compliance intention of employees.

It is essential to examine and analyze the power output and load responses together using real-world turbulent wind speeds. In this paper, the power controller and the drive train damper are simultaneously considered using the NREL 5MW wind turbine model, and the damage equivalent load(DEL) of the low speed shaft torque and power output responses according to the natural frequency of the second order low pass filter are simultaneously investigated. Numerical testing is carried out above rated wind speed using commercially available Bladed software. From the viewpoints of DEL reduction of the drive train shaft torque and power output responses, it is shown that the natural frequency of the low pass filter is appropriately about 6 to 10rad/s. And the reduction ratio of the DEL of the low-speed shaft torque decreases as the wind speed becomes higher, and it is confirmed that the reduction ratio is limited to about 20% at high wind speeds.

Recently, photogrammetry, TLS(Terrestrial Laser Scanner), MMS(Mobile Mapping System)-based techniques have been applied to estimate earthwork volume for construction management. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the accuracy of earthwork volume estimating between photogrammetry and TLS, MMS that improves the traditional surveying method in convenience, estimating accuracy. For this, the following research works are conducted sequentially; 1) literature review, 2) core algorithm analysis, 3) surveying data acquisition using photogrammetry, TLS, MMS, 4) estimated earthwork volume comparison according to surveying method. As a result of the experiment, it was analyzed that there were earthwork volume errors of 1,207.5㎥ (14.03%) of UAV-based digital map, 391.5㎥(4.55%) of UAV, TLS integrated digital map, and 294.9㎥(3.43%) of UAV, MMS integrated digital map. It is expected that the result of this study will be enormous due to the availability of the analyzed data.

The renewable energy is known as eco-friendly energy to reduce the use of fossil fuel and decrease the environmental pollution due to exhaust gas. Targets of solar collector in domestic are usually acquisitions of hot water and hot air. System of air-heating collector is one of the technologies for obtaining hot air in cases of especially heating room and drying agricultural product. The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of thermal flow such as relative pressure, velocity, outlet temperature and buoyancy effect in air-heating collector using solar heat. The flow field of air-heating collector was simulated using ANSYS-CFX program and the behaviour of hot air was evaluated with SST turbulence model. As the results, The streamline in air-heating collector showed several circular shapes in case of condition of buoyancy. Temperature difference in cross section of outlet of air-heating collector did not almost show in cases of buoyancy and small inlet velocity. Furthermore merit of air-heating collector was not observed in cases of inlet velocities. Even though it was useful to select condition of buoyancy for obtaining high temperature, however, it was confirmed that the trade off between high temperature of room and rapid injection of hot air to room could be needed through this numerical analysis.

The purpose of this study is to obtain the natural frequency of fuel supply pipes for vehicle engines through modal analysis and testing and compare the resulting values to ensure the reliability of the analysis. In other words, in this study, we obtain the unique frequency of the fuel pipe of the vehicle engine through analysis and testing and compare its results.
Comparing the natural frequency obtained through analysis and testing, the first and third vibration modes obtained accurate natural frequency results of less than 1% and very similar results of less than 5% maximum error over the fourth vibration modes. These results are determined that if design changes of fuel pipes are made depending on the vehicle in the future, there will be no problem in obtaining the natural frequency of pipes that have been changed by analysis. Through future analysis and testing, durability and stability evaluation of connections of fuel supply pipes for vehicle engines will be carried out.

In the ultrasonic welding machine, when the load fluctuates, the L and C of the piezo element in the oscillation part change. As a result, the resonant frequency is changed, so it is necessary to match the operating frequency of the ultrasonic welding machine to the new resonant frequency. That is, in order to maximize the output of the oscillation unit of the ultrasonic welding machine, it is inevitable to follow the resonance frequency. Accordingly, many methods for following the resonant frequency are being actively studied. In addition, in order to check the effect of external inductance on the operation of the ultrasonic welding machine, The equivalent circuit of the piezo element was analyzed by including the external inductance for resonance in the equivalent circuit of the piezo element, and the method of selecting an appropriate inductance was described. In this paper, we propose a new system that allows the switching frequency of the inverter to tracking the resonance frequency even if the resonance frequency is changed due to the load of the ultrasonic welding machine.

Batteries are widely used for energy storage, such as ESS(Energy Storage System), electric vehicles, electric aircraft, and electric powered ships. Among them, a submarine uses a high power battery for an energy storage. When the battery of a submarine is discharged, a diesel generator generates AC power, and then AC/DC power converter change AC power to DC power for charging the battery. Therefore, in order to lower the current capacity of the diesel generator, it is necessary to use an AC/DC converter with a high input power factor. And, a power converter with a large power capacity must have high stability because it can lead to a major accident when a failure occurs. However, the control algorithm using the traditional PI controller is difficult to satisfy stability and dynamic characteristics. In this paper, we design the high power AC/DC converter with high input power factor for battery charging systems. And, we propose a stable control algorithm. The validity of the proposed method is verified through simulation and experiments.

In this study, In order to prevent the safety accidents caused by the sliding, to develop the non-slip grating, the stability judgment based on the span length of the grating and the gap of the bearing bar is performed. The structural analysis of Grating was carried out in accordance with the provisions set out in Grating's load-bearing test conditions.
As the span length increases, the deflection increases and the stress and span length tend to be proportional to each other. It was shown that the larger the span, the linear increase in stress and exponential increase in deformation of grating. The maximum stress of grating was approximately 58.2 MPa, indicating a very stable safety rate of about 4.3 compared to the yield strength of the grating material.
Based on these results, it will be able to be utilized as the basic data for determining the optimal dimensions of non-slip grading by performing optimal designs in the future.

In this study, a pressure vessel for a heat pipe was fabricated by bonding a metal thin film using a polymer compound sheet. In order to confirm the applicability of the experimentally manufactured copper material thin heat pipe of 0.6 mm or less, the pressure resistance and effective thermal conductivity for pressure generated according to the type of the working fluid of the heat pipe were evaluated to suggest the commercialization potential of the thin heat pipe. As a result of evaluating the pressure resistance and effective thermal conductivity performance of the thin heat pipe, the following conclusions were drawn.
1) Using a PEEK-based polymer compound sheet, it was possible to fabricate a pressure vessel for a thin heat pipe with a pressure resistance of up to 1.0 MPa by bonding a copper thin film, and the possibility of commercialization was confirmed at a temperature below 120 ℃.
2) In the case of the effective thermal conductivity performance evaluation test, the effective thermal conductivity of ethanol was higher than that of FC72 and Novec7000, and in the case of ethanol, the maximum effective thermal conductivity was 2,851 W/mK at 3.0 W of heating.

And, a power converter with a large power capacity must have high stability because it can lead to a major accident when a failure occurs. However, the control algorithm using the traditional PI controller is difficult to satisfy stability and dynamic characteristics. In this paper, we design the high power AC/DC converter with high input power factor for battery charging systems. And, we propose a stable control algorithm. The validity of the proposed method is verified through simulation and experiments.

In this study, In order to prevent the safety accidents caused by the sliding, to develop the non-slip grating, the stability judgment based on the span length of the grating and the gap of the bearing bar is performed. The structural analysis of Grating was carried out in accordance with the provisions set out in Grating's load-bearing test conditions.
As the span length increases, the deflection increases and the stress and span length tend to be proportional to each other. It was shown that the larger the span, the linear increase in stress and exponential increase in deformation of grating. The maximum stress of grating was approximately 58.2 MPa, indicating a very stable safety rate of about 4.3 compared to the yield strength of the grating material.
Based on these results, it will be able to be utilized as the basic data for determining the optimal dimensions of non-slip grading by performing optimal designs in the future.

In this study, a pressure vessel for a heat pipe was fabricated by bonding a metal thin film using a polymer compound sheet. In order to confirm the applicability of the experimentally manufactured copper material thin heat pipe of 0.6 mm or less, the pressure resistance and effective thermal conductivity for pressure generated according to the type of the working fluid of the heat pipe were evaluated to suggest the commercialization potential of the thin heat pipe. As a result of evaluating the pressure resistance and effective thermal conductivity performance of the thin heat pipe, the following conclusions were drawn.
1) Using a PEEK-based polymer compound sheet, it was possible to fabricate a pressure vessel for a thin heat pipe with a pressure resistance of up to 1.0 MPa by bonding a copper thin film, and the possibility of commercialization was confirmed at a temperature below 120 ℃.
2) In the case of the effective thermal conductivity performance evaluation test, the effective thermal conductivity of ethanol was higher than that of FC72 and Novec7000, and in the case of ethanol, the maximum effective thermal conductivity was 2,851 W/mK at 3.0 W of heating.
