Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of childbirth education on induction of labor to mothers on their childbirth experience, state anxiety, and labor pain. Methods: The study was designed as a quasi-experimental study in the non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design. Data were collected from January to August, 2018, and were analyzed using X2 -test, Fisher's exact test, independent t-test, and Mann-Whitney U test. Results: The childbirth education prior to induction of labor provided to mothers scheduled to have it in the present study had no effects on their childbirth experience perception, state anxiety and labor pain. Conclusion: Childbirth education on induction of labor provided to mothers had no effects on their labor pain, state anxiety and childbirth experience perception. This is believed to be due to differences in the method and frequency of childbirth education, and it is necessary to consider the appropriate methods and contents of education for induced labor in order to alleviate the positive childbirth experience of induced labor mothers and their state anxiety and labor pain.

Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate the spiritual well-being, attitude toward death and hospice perception among nurse working in long-term care hospitals, as well as to identify the relationships between variables and examine factors influencing their hospice perception. Methods: Data were collected using a self-reported questionnaire completed by 152 at nurse working in long-term care hospitals eight long-term care hospital from october 15, 2019 to november 20, 2019. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression with the SPSS 22.0 program. Results: Hospice perception among attitude toward death nurse working in long-term care hospitals were significantly correlated with spiritual well-being(r=.24, p=.002) and attitude toward death(r=.25, p=.002). spiritual well-being among attitude toward death was significantly correlated(r=.25, p<.001). The significant predictors of the hospice perception in nurse working in long-term care hospitals were position system (β=0.25, p<.001) and attitude toward death (β=0.20, p<.001), the experience of death close relatives (β=-0.20, p<.001). These variables explained 15.1% in total of hospice perception. Conclusion: Overall, these findings suggest that the hospice perception education program, including spiritual well-being and attitude toward death is necessary to enhance the positive hospice perception among nurse working in long-term care hospitals.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the test anxiety, problematic drinking, depression, and quality of sleep between high caffeine drink intake and non-intake group and identify factors influencing the quality of sleep among nursing students. Methods: The design of this study was a descriptive correlational study. 180 participants of 1th to 4thgrade nursing students completed the questionnaire. Data were analyzed by the SPSS/WIN22.0 using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, chi-square test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression. Results: The mean scores of test anxiety, problematic drinking, depression, and quality of sleep in the high caffeine drink intake group were significantly high compared to those of the non-intake group. Sleep quality showed a positive correlation with test anxiety and problematic drinking. High caffeine drink intake and problematic drinking were the influential factors predicting quality of sleep. Conclusion: This implies that health education and policies on managing sleep quality and intake of high caffeine drinks should be essential to promote the health of nursing students.

Purpose: This study was a descriptive study to investigate the effects of nurse' good death recognition, consciousness of bioethics, and moral sensitivity on attitudes toward advance directives. Methods: The study was performed at a university hospital in Incheon between July 10 and 20, 2019. Convenience sampling was used to recruit 176 clinical nurses. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires. Results: The perception of good death was 3.10±0.31, consciousness of biomedical ethics was 2.87±0.21, moral sensitivity was 5.10±0.53 and attitude toward advance directives was 2.88±0.28. Attitude toward advance directives were positively correlated with perception of good death (r=.33, p=.001), consciousness of biomedical ethics (r=.14, p=.077), moral sensitivity (r=.32, p=.001). In the results of analyzing the factors having effects on the attitude toward advance directives, the age (β=.44, p=.006), value of advance directives (β=.20, p=.005), perception of good death (β=.21, p=.004), moral sensitiity (β=.15, p=.034), euthanasia (β=-.16, p=.047) and the explanatory power of regression model was 32.3% (F=7.20, p<.001) Conclusion: It would be necessary to develop the systematic educational programs that could positively improve the attitude toward advance directives by establishing the perception of good death, and increasing the consciousness of biomedical ethics and moral sensitivity of nurses.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of nurses in elderly-centered community integration care and the effectiveness of intervention programs through systematic literature review and to consider foreign community care policies. Methods: Based on databases such as CINAHL, PubMed, Web of Science, ProQuest, and Scoupus, search terms included 'community integrated care', 'aged', 'case management', and 'nursing role' between 2010 and 2019. Eleven published articles from 148 screened articles met the inclusion criteria. Results: First, the role of nurse was a care coordinator based on person-centered and integrated care in the primary care setting. Second, the effects of program showed conflicting outcome but there was no clinical significance in the quality of life. Third, developed countries have a policy to help facilitate the link between health care and home services, and national policies are specific so that policies can be realized. Conclusion: This study suggest that education and support should be supported at the national level so that nurses, as care coordinators, can perform an evaluation through understanding and education on a comprehensive assessment tool, draw up care plans with elderly and families, arrange and coordinate services according to the plan, and cooperate with multidisciplinary teams.

Purpose: The objective of this study is to investigate the association of Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose(SMBG), utilization of SMBG and glycemic control, hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods: A survey was conducted from November 2013 to May 2014 of 210 type 2 diabetic patients performing SMBG. Data on practice for SMBG, utilization of SMBG, self-reported episodes of hypoglycemia, and HbA1c values were obtained by questionnaires and laboratory assessments. Results: According to the data, 32.7% of patients had the complication, 38.1% of them were being treated with insulin. In frequency of blood glucose testing, 61.4% of patients monitored it less than 6 times per week. Exercise and insulin dose was frequently controlled by the result of SMBG. And three items of adjusting of oral agents dosage and records of blood glucose level and utilization of SMBG record in hospital visit were low. There were no statistically significant correlations between SMBG and glycemic control. Conclusion: In order to improve the patient's glycemic control, it is not enough just perform SMBG. It is suggested that self-regulation by result of SMBG and communication with medical staff should be accompanied.
