소프트웨어 교육이 보편화됨에 따라 다양한 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교구들이 출시되고 있으나, 교육적 효과가 검증된 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교구가 많지 않아서 초등교육 현장에서 교구를 선정하는 데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 특히 초등학생의 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육에 효과적일 것으로 예상되는 블록형 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교구에 대한 효과성 검증에 대한 수요가 큰 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 블록 형태로 만들어진 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교구인 코블S를 소재로 진행한 소프트웨어 교육의 효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구는 인천지역 5, 6학년 과학영재 20명을 피 실험자로 선정하였고, AI 메이커 코딩 교재를 연구 현장과 환경에 맞게 수정, 보완하여 교육 프로그램을 설계하였다. 20차시의 영재수업을 시작하기 전과 후에 각각 CSI창의융합코딩역량 검사 도구를 이용하여 컴퓨팅 사고력 검사를 진행하였고, 추상화, 문제분해, 알고리즘, 자동화, 데이터처리 등 5가지 영역의 컴퓨팅 사고력의 변화를 측정하였다. 통계치를 검정한 결과 5가지 모든 영역에서 유의미한 효과가 있었음을 확인하였고, 블록형 코딩교구를 이용한 소프트웨어 교육이 과학영재학생의 컴퓨팅 사고력 향상에 효과가 있었음을 확인하였다.

As software education becomes more common, various physical computing teaching aids are being released, but there are not many physical computing teaching tools that have proven educational effects, making it difficult to select teaching tools in the elementary education field. In particular, there is a high demand for verifying the effectiveness of block-type physical computing tools, which is expected to be effective in physical computing education for elementary school students. Therefore, in this study, the effect of software education based on COBL S, a physical computing tools made in the form of a block, was analyzed. In this study, 20 fifth and sixth graders were selected as subjects, and the educational program was designed by modifying and supplementing AI maker coding textbooks to suit the research site and environment. Before and after the start of the 20th class for gifted students, computational thinking tests were conducted using CSI creative fusion coding competency testing tools, and changes in computational thinking in five areas were measured: abstraction, problem decomposition, algorithm, automation, and data processing. As a result of testing the statistics found, it was confirmed that there were significant effects in all five areas, and that software education using block-type coding teaching was effective in improving the computing thinking ability of science gifted students.

본 연구는 초등학교 중학년 학생을 대상으로 하는 언플러그드 교육 프로그램 개발에 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 다음과 같이 연구를 진행하였다. 첫 번째, 초등학교 중학년 학생의 발달 수준을 고려하고, 안전 교육이라는 주제를 선정하여 스토리가 있는 언플러그드 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 두 번째, 개발된 프로그램에 따라 컴퓨팅 사고력을 향상시킬 수 있는 15차시 수업으로 계획하였다. 각 차시는 '안녕이'라는 주인공과 함께 전개되며 언플러그드 활동 유형과 컴퓨팅 사고력을 기준으로 설계되었다. 각 차시에 필요한 언플러그드 교육 프로그램 활동 자료를 개발하였다. 마지막으로 초등학교 중학년 대상으로 교육 프로그램을 적용하고, 질적 사례연구를 통하여 교육 프로그램의 효과성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 초등학교 중학년 학생에게 실행 가능하고 학생들의 컴퓨팅 사고력 역시 향상되었으며 초등 교육 현장에도 적용 가능성이 있음이 확인되었다.

The purpose of this study is to develop an unplugged education program for the middle grades of elementary school students. To this end, the study was conducted as follows. First, an unplugged education program with a story was developed by considering the level of development of the middle grades of elementary school students and selecting the topic of safety education. Second, it was planned as 15th classes that can improve computational thinking skills according to the developed program. Each class is developed with the main character 'An-nyeong-ee' and is designed based on the unplugged activity type and computational thinking. Materials for activities of unplugged education programs necessary for each class were developed. Finally, educational programs were applied to the middle grades of elementary school students, and the effectiveness of educational programs was analyzed through qualitative case studies. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that it was practicable for the middle grades of elementary school students, and students' computational thinking was also improved, and it was possible to be applied to elementary education sites.

EduCare 모델은 블렌디드 러닝의 온라인환경에서 학생들의 상호작용을 높이기 위하여 교수학습 활동뿐만 아니라 일상활동을 돌봄 개념으로 포함한 것이다. 이 논문은 온라인 플랫폼 메타버스의 4가지 유형 속에 증강 가상을 구분하여 정의하였으며, 이 증강가상 메타버스 플랫폼기반으로 운영한 수업 사례 분석이다. 블렌디드 러닝으로 구성된 한 학기 대학 수업 중 온라인 부분은 게더타운에서 이루어졌으며, 교수학습 활동 외에 쉬는 시간에도 일상을 공유하는 EduCare 모델 기반 상호작용 수업모형을 적용하였다. 수업 사례 분석 결과 교실수업과 유사하게 심리적 안녕감을 반영하는 활동들이 관찰되었다. 또한 수업의 만족도, 수업 전달 효과, 수업의 집중도는 모두 높게 나타났으며, 대면 수업 경험이 상대적으로 많았던 재학생들은 신입생에 비해서 증강가상 유형의 메타버스 플랫폼을 적용한 수업의 효과를 유의미하게 긍정적으로 평가하는 경향이 있었다.

The EduCare model includes not only teaching and learning activities but also daily activities as a caring concept in order to enhance students' interaction in the online environment of blended learning. This paper was defined by dividing augmented vitual(AV) world among four types of online platform metaverses, and it is an analysis of class cases operated based on this AV based metaverse platform. The online part of the university classes consisting of blended learning was conducted in Gathertown, and an EduCare model-based interaction classl that shares daily life during breaks in addition to teaching and learning activities was applied. As a result of class case analysis, activities that reflect psychological well-being were observed similar to classroom classes. In addition, class satisfaction, class delivery effect, and class concentration were all high, and enrolled students with relatively high face-to-face class experience tended to significantly positively evaluate the effect of classes applying AV based metaverse platforms compared to freshmen.

인공지능 기술이 사회 전반의 패러다임을 주도하는 가운데, 교육의 관점에서 인공지능에 대해 어느 수준까지 이해가 필요한 것인지에 대한 논의는 명확하지 않은 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 인공지능 기술이나 기초지식이 부족한 상태에서도 인공지능 윤리에 대한 이해가 충분할 수 있는지를 확인하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 목적 달성을 위해 인공지능 기초지식을 습득한 집단 18명과 기초지식이 부족한 집단 16명을 대상으로 인공지능 윤리와 관련된 다양한 딜레마를 중심으로 교육을 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 인공지능 기술에 대한 기초지식이 부족한 경우에는 인공지능 윤리와 관련된 다양한 논의를 이해하는 데 어려움이 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 인공지능 자체에 대한 이해가 미비한 상태에서는 인공지능과 관련하여 파생 가능한 문제에 대한 접근이나 이해가 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 인공지능 교육을 진행하는 데 있어서 우선되어야 하는 것은 기술에 대한 이해라는 점을 확인했다는 데 의의가 있다.

While artificial intelligence(AI) technology is leading the paradigm of society as a whole, it is not clear what level of understanding about AI is necessary from an education point of view. Therefore, this study was conducted with the purpose of confirming whether the understanding of AI ethics can be sufficient even in the absence of AI technology or basic knowledge. In order to achieve the goal, education was conducted focusing on various dilemmas related to AI ethics for 18 people in the group who acquired basic knowledge of AI and 16 people in the group who lack basic knowledge. As a result of the study, it was analyzed that it was difficult to understand various discussions related to AI ethics if the basic knowledge about AI technology was insufficient. In addition, it was found that, in a state where the understanding of AI itself was insufficient, access to or understanding of possible problems related to AI was insufficient. This study is meaningful in that it confirmed that the first priority in AI education is understanding of technology.

게임의 스토리텔링은 다양한 신화의 이야기를 바탕으로 세계관을 만들어 내며, 게임 그래픽은 세계관에 맞는 가상세계를 창조해낸다. 스토리텔링을 상징하는 게임 그래픽은 플레이어들에게 게임 세계관에 대한 몰입과 경험을 가능하게 하며 특히 색채는 게임 플레이에 있어서 언어적 기능을 담당하는 중요한 그래픽 요소라고 할 수 있다. 게임 그래픽에서 표현되고 있는 색채를 마법의 계열별로 분류하고 캐릭터, 배경과 연관된 서사를 분석하여 색채의 상징적 의미가 스토리텔링에 의해 생성되는 방식을 연구하였다. 연구 결과에 따라 색채가 스토리텔링의 기능적인 요소로 작용하고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 플레이어들에게 게임의 서사를 경험하게 하는 색채 상징 방식이 게임 그래픽 제작에 있어서 유용한 디자인 방법이 될 수 있을 것을 제안한다.

Storytelling of games creates a worldview based on various mythological stories, and game graphics create a virtual world that fits the worldview. Game graphics, which symbolize storytelling, enable immersion and experience in the game worldview, and in particular, color is an important graphic element in charge of linguistic functions. The method in which the symbolic meaning of color is generated by storytelling was studied by classifying the colors expressed in game graphics by magic schools and analyzing the narratives related to characters and environments. According to the research results, it was confirmed that color acts as a functional element of storytelling. Through this study, I propose that the color symbol method that allows players to experience the narrative of the game can be a useful design method in game graphics production.
