The purpose of this study is to compare the amount of critical chloride of rebar embedded in concrete according to the substitution rate of admixture. In order to determine the starting point of corrosion of rebar, electrodes were embedded in concrete, chloride was supplied, and OCP of rebar was observed in real time. The amount of the contaminants in the concrete surrounding the rebar was judged to be the critical corrosion chloride contents of the rebar at the start of the corrosion. As a result of the comparative evaluation, it was confirmed that the critical chloride contents of the rebar decreased with increasing the substitution ratio of the admixture.

This study investigated the effect of fly ash content on the isothermal hydration heat of cement pastes. Two different pastes with fly ash content were studied to cure at 35°C. The hydration heat flow deceleration stage of slurry was simulated and compared by Jander Equation and Ginstling-Brounshtein Equation. The results show that Jander Equation and Ginstling-Brounshtein Equation have certain defects in the modeling of the deceleration stage of the heat flow of cement fly ash paste, and the fitted curve can not describe the deceleration stage well.

In order to examine the adhesion characteristics of road pavement according to environmental conditions, the freezing time of cement mortar and the adhesion performance between ice and pavement were evaluated depending on the presence or absence of polymer and water repellent. As a result of measuring the ice formation time, it was found that there was no delay when a polymer was added, but the complete freezing time was delayed when a water repellent was added. As a result of measuring the strength of ice adhesion, it was found that the bonding force between ice and the surface of the test body was greatly generated in the test body without water repellent. In the case of a test specimen to which a water repellent was added, it was found that the bonding strength between the test specimen surface and ice was reduced.

Carbon dioxide emissions in the construction sector account for 38% of all industries, and environmental destruction is occurring due to indiscriminate use of natural resources. The purpose of this study is to develop by-product aggregate Non-Sintered Cement(NSC) that can replace sand used as natural aggregate and Portland cement . Therefore, Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag, Type C Fly Ash and Type F Fly Ash are used to replace cement, and water granulated ferro-nickel slag(FNS) is used to replace aggregate. The flow, compressive strength and flexural strength of the formulation using sand as an aggregate and the formulation replacing 100% FNS were compared. As a result of the experiment, the formulation using FNS had higher overall strength than the formulation using sand, and as the substitution rate of Type C fly ash increased, the strength was the best. Formulation using FNS is more fluid than using sand. Through this study, we show the possibility of 100% substitution of FNS and its applicability to secondary concrete products of by-product aggregate NSC.

Portland Limestone Cement (PLC) is a blended cement using limestone powder as SCMs (Supplementary Cementitious Materials), and is currently regarded as an essential means for achieving carbon neutral in the cement industry. This study was performed to investigate the fresh and hardened properties of cement mortar according to the fineness and replacement ratio of limestone powder. As a result, the compressive strength of mortar used high blaine limestone powder were equivalent level of that of OPC.

In order to improve the strength degradation of the cement-based material to which strong alkaline liquid red mud was added, the liquid red mud was neutralized with sulfuric acid and added to the cement paste to examine the mechanical properties according to the amount added. As a result of measuring the compressive strength, the strength was higher when the red mud was neutralized with sulfuric acid and added to the cement paste than the cement paste to which the liquid red mud was added. As a result of hydration heat measurement, when red mud was neutralized with sulfuric acid and added to the cement paste, an initial strength higher than that of liquid red mud was expressed.

In this study, glued laminated timber were manufactured by different types of adhesives for larch and spruce. Adhesives used to manufacture glued laminated timber include resorcinol resin, phenol resorcinol resin, melamine resin, and polyurethane. The char thickness and char rate according to the type of adhesive forglued laminated timber were analyzed. Melamine, resorcinol, and polyurethane showed excellent fire resistance performance in that order.

There is a limit to preventing various types of safety accidents in advance at construction sites. Even for buildings of the same total floor area, it is expected that the more complex the building shape or the higher the number of floors, the higher the probability of a safety accident. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the effect of the shape of a building on safety accidents using safety accident data generated during actual construction. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of building shape on safety accidents. As a result, the R2 value of shape factor and safety accident was 0.901, and the R2 value of construction difficulty and safety accident was 0.944. In the future, the results of this study will be used as basic data for improving safety management related systems.

Tile defects in apartment houses are caused by a combination of various factors. These factors cannot be specified, and it is difficult to determine the exact cause because a number of causes are intertwined. In addition, because the climate of Korea is different by season, the coefficient of thermal expansion between materials is different, which is a major cause of tile defects. Therefore, this study analyzed the difference between the construction location and the period of defect occurrence according to the types of tile defects caused by environmental differences between indoor and outdoor environments. Two-way ANOVA was used, indoor and outdoor spaces were selected, and defect types were selected accordingly to show the difference in the occurrence period of each defect.

The construction industry has more safety accidents than other industries. Although there have been more attempts to reduce safety hazards in the industry such as the enforcement of the "Serious Accidents Punishment Act (SAPA)", construction accident has not been reduced enough. In this study, analysis of safety risk factors has been made through Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA)-based topic modeling. Risk analysis in construction site would be improved with natural language processing and topic modeling.

The water proofing sheet of synthetic polymer applies to the purification plant, the wastewater treatment center, the low waterway, the dosing tanks, etc, and when we construct these, we apply the dual waterproof by means of hot air staking welder or extruder. However, the experts skilled in the hot air welding or extruder does not use them, it can be a quality problem. Therefore, in this study, it is the purpose to verify whether the semi-automatic hot air staking welder and automatic extruder that can construct the waterproof sheet is possible in field even if it is not a professional specialist.

In the previous study, durometer, namely rubber hardness tester Was used to confirm the possibility of using the setting time of concrete for determination. in this study, the possibility of using condensation time judgment condensation estimation system by comparing the measuring station setting estimation system Measuring needle of the proctor penetration resistance tester by newly making a measurement needle and refining the coagulation estimation system Want to make sure. As a result of this study, it was possible to use one condensation estimation system showing similar correlation between the two types of durometer showing high correlation with the penetration resistance value of proctor testers, It is considered to be fruitful to use the dew condensation estimation system for determining the setting time.

3D printing has the unique advantage of the ability to customize freeform product even in small quantity. However, we need to select and apply the only necessary parts of it because of the high cost of the manufacturing technology. It is of critical importance in irregular-shaped curtain walls to ensure precision of construction as well as quality fo finish. Complex shape that have structural members at varying angles can have nodes of different shapes making it unfeasible to construct using a general node connection detail. Therefore, this study aims to utilize smart node system using 3D printing as a solution to complex irregular-shaped curtain wall design.

Internal Insulation system is applied to the most apartment building in Korea. However due to the importance of building energy enhanced the interest of the exernal insulation system. The extermal insulation system has better thermal performance because the thermal bridge through the structure are rarely formed. But the thermal bridge around the window decrease the thermal performance of the envelope system. Therefore the technology for reducing the thermal bridge around window improves energy efficiency of the building. In order to this it is necessary to minimize the thermal bridge around window of building. In this study it is aimed to minimize the thermal bridge around the window of building. It was confirmed that the use of thermal bridge barrier imporved the heat transfer rate by 64% or more and the condensation reduction phenomenon by 42% or more compared with the exist technology. These thermal bridge barrier will be used as the main technology to improve the energy efficiency of building.

Reinforced concrete works account for 40 to 50 percent of the total construction work. However, the shortage of construction workers is a problem in the delay of the construction period of reinforced concrete. The partial rebar prefabrication is one of the ways to shorten construction period. Thus, this study compared the partial rebar prefabrication and field fabrication method through work sampling. As a result, the partial rebar prefabrication showed a significant decrease in time compared to field fabrication method. As a result of this study, it is expected to be used as a reference for the efficient selection of reinforced concrete methods.

Logistics facilities are characterized by wide spans and high flooring, most of which are constructed with PC (Precast Concrete) methods to meet a wide range of commercial and industrial needs. However, the PC structure is a pin joint design, and the construction cost is increased due to the restrictions caused by the installation process, and the construction period is lengthened. In order to solve the above problem, SMART Frame, which is a structural system similar to the steel frame structure, was developed by embedding a steel frame at both ends of the PC. The purpose of this study is to analyze the erection time reduction effect of steel connected precast concrete components (SMART frames) for long span and heavy loaded logistics buildings compared to existing PC frames. For this study, a logistics building constructed with pin joint PC components is selected as a case. The result is compared with the existing PC frame to confirm the erection time reduction effect.

A few years ago, the rapid degradation of domestic air quality has led to the efforts of exhaust gas policy and fine dust mask, but it is not a fundamental measure. In Korea, photocatalyst will be applied to residential and multi-use facilites to purify indoor and outdoor air. Also, in this study, it is tried to produce exposed concrete that is aesthetically pleasing as well as air purification of indoor by combining with light transparent concrete according to the increasing interest in human indoor living environment. For this purpose, we have developed a block formwork for photocatalysis light transparent concrete and established a suitable manufacturing method for on-site construction.

As energy related problems continue to arise, Korea's thermal insulation market for the zero energy homes is also demanding major changes, but there are no realistic countermeasures. Also, interest in inorganic insulation is growing as damage from multifamily housing fire using flammable insulation materials is increasing. On the other hand, many studies have been conducted on lightweight foam concrete, which implies a sufficient possibility as an insulation material by generating a large amount of air bubbles. However, studies of existion bubble concrete are not quantified by the experimental difficulty of using bubbles when compared. Therefore, in this study, the change in strength due to air pressure using a bubble foam, one of the types of air bubbles for the development of light foam concrete.

In this study, the characteristics of the Mock-up test were reviewed to analyze the applicability of the coal gasification slag (CGS) from the integrated gasification combination Cycle (IGCC) to the concrete fine aggregate. The analysis shows that CGS and crushed sand mix is the best combination of CGS combined with about 50 % of CGS based on the effects of promoting liquidity and strength. This is expected to be a positive factor in securing the strength and flexibility of concrete given the optimal mix of CGS, and may also contribute to the improvement of quality.

Reinforced concrete is a building material that is generally used in modern society. Also, reinforced concrete structures in high salinity environments have low durability due to corrosion of reinforcing bars due to infiltrated chlorine ions. Anion exchange resins have an ability to immobilize chlorine ions in the resin while releasing their anions. As a material, it has already been shown that it is possible to fix the chloride ion inside the cementitious material through the cement mortar experiment. The purpose of this study is to confirm the compressive strength of cement mortar using powdered anion exchange resin after powdering an anion exchange resin. In order to confirm the chloride ion fixation ability of the powder anion exchange resin, chlorine ion penetration resistance test was carried out.
