본 연구는 외국인 유학생이 겪고 있는 적응 문제 해결을 위해 현지인과의 사회적 관계를 중심으로 유학 생활 적응을 도울 수 있는 서비스를 제안하였다. 문헌 연구와 설문조사를 통해 유학생들의 문제를 정의하였고 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 진행하여 유학생과 한국인 학생의 사회적 관계의 어려움을 이해하고 원인을 파악하였다. 이어서 페르소나를 도출하고 서비스 제공 가치를 안전, 자율성, 지속성의 세 가지로 정의하였다. 이를 토대로 서비스 컨셉과 구체적인 서비스 과정을 포함하는 첫번째 프로토타입을 제작하였고 설문조사를 통해 잠재 고객의 피드백을 수집하였다. 두번째 프로토타입은 서비스의 안전, 신뢰성과 지속성 측면에서 보완되었으며, 참가자 6명을 대상으로 실제 활동을 진행해 사회적 관계 수준과 프로그램 만족도를 평가하였다. 그 결과, 참가자들의 만족도는 5점 만점에 평균 4.5점으로, 제안하는 서비스가 외국인 유학생들의 사회적 관계 향상에 기여함을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 발달적 관점에서 성인 초기 외국인 유학생들이 현지 적응과 사회적 관계 형성에서 경험하는 어려움을 분석하였으며, 디자인 방법론을 활용해 호혜적 관계에 기반한 적응 프로그램을 제안했다는 점에서 기존 연구와 차별화되는 의의가 있다.

This study proposes a service to solve and help international students' foreign country adaptation issues by focusing on local social relationships. Literature reviews and surveys distinguished the adaptation issues, focused group interviews identified social relationship difficulties between internationals and locals, and finally carried out personas for this study. This study defines three core service values: safety, autonomy, and persistence. Moreover, detailed service level specifications and prototype evaluation surveys added credibility to the core values. Six volunteers participated in the revised content and evaluated their social relationship levels after the activity. As a result, participants' satisfaction level was 4.5 out of 5 points on average. This study is meaningful as it analyzes the difficulties of international students' local adaption with social relationship development in the early stage and proposes a successful adaptation program based on a reciprocal relationship by utilizing a design methodology.

AI 스피커 시장 규모가 점점 더 커지고 있는 가운데 그 이용 양상은 일방향적인 소통에서 쌍방향적 소통으로 변화하고 있다. 이러한 상호작용에서 소통하는 주체의 특성에 따라 각기 다른 사용자 경험이 생김으로 사용자 개개인의 성격이 인터랙션에 미치는 영향에 주목할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 관계 중심 및 과제 중심 대화유형 하에 사용자의 big5 성격 5요인이 AI 스피커에 대한 친밀감에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과, 친화성, 개방성이 친밀감과의 관계에서 대화유형의 유의미한 조절 효과가 발견되었다. 관계 중심 상황의 경우 친밀감에 대하여 친화성은 부(-)적인 영향을, 개방성은 정(+)적인 영향을 미쳤으며 과제 중심 상황에서 친밀감에 대하여 친화성은 정(+)적인 영향을 미친 반면 개방성은 아무런 영향을 미치지 않았다. 신경성의 경우 유의한 효과는 아니었으나 대화유형에 따라 친밀감에 부(-)적인 영향을 미친다는 사실도 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 기반으로 긍정적인 사용자 경험을 위한 AI 스피커와 정서적인 측면의 인터랙션에 대한 다각도의 연구가 이루어지기를 기대한다.

During the growing market size of AI speakers, their usage patterns are changing from one-way communication to two-way communication. As different user experiences are created depending on the characteristics of the communicating subject, it is necessary to pay attention to the influence of each user's personality on the interaction. In this study, we aimed to investigate how the user's five personality factors affect intimacy with AI speakers under relationship-oriented and task-oriented conversation types. As a result, a significant moderating effect of the conversation type was found in agreeableness and openness to experience with intimacy. In the case of relationship-oriented situations, agreeableness had a negative effect on intimacy, openness to experience had a positive effect, and agreeableness had a positive effect on intimacy in task-oriented situations, while openness to experience had no effect. In the case of neuroticism, it was not a significant effect, but confirmed the conversation type had a negative effect on the intimacy. Based on the results, it is expected that multi-faceted researches on the emotional interaction with AI speakers will be conducted for a positive user experience.

3차원 모델을 이용한 래피드 프로토타이핑 기술이 빠르게 발전함에 따라 3D 스캐닝과 3D 프린팅 기술이 문화재 보호 분야에서 광범위하게 응용되고 있다. 다양한 문화재 중 청동기 유물에 대한 전통 복원 과정은 복원 재료가 원본 문화재를 부식시키고 복원 과정을 조작하기 어렵다는 문제점이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 3D 스캐닝과 3D 프린팅 기술을 활용하여 중국 고대 청동기 시대의 문화재 복원 과정을 소개한다. 특히, 본 연구는 수구여신(修舊如新) 방식에 입각하여 훼손된 문화재에 신기술을 적용하여 복원하는 방식의 가치를 재고한다. 3D 프린터를 이용해 저렴한 비용으로 제작 가능한 3D 스캐너를 개발하고 이를 활용하여 문화재의 형태적 특징과 구조를 다각도에서 신속하게 촬영하는 방식을 확인한다. 또한, 대중적인 3D CAD 소프트웨어를 사용해 문화재의 가상 모형을 복원할 수 있는 가능성을 보였다. 가상 복원을 마친 3D 모델을 3D 프린터로 출력하여 실제 문화재 복원에 적용하였다. 본 연구는 맞춤 제작 가능한 3D 스캐너를 제안하여 기존의 첨단 3D 스캐너의 비용적 한계를 극복하고, 3D 프린팅 기술을 활용하여 전통 문화재 복원 작업에서 디지털 기술의 대중화 가능성을 시사하였다.

Rapid Prototyping technology, including 3D scanning and 3D printing, has been widely applied in the field of cultural heritage restoration. Many artifacts from Chinese Bronze Age have been found with corrosions and losses that make archaeologists difficult to work through the restoration process. In this study, we developed a bespoke and affordable 3D scanner made with 3D printers. We examined our scanner in the restoration of an ancient Chinese object, which has been passed down from the Chinese Bronze Age. We captured and recorded the morphological features and structural information of the damaged artifact. We then employed the photos in restoring the virtual model of the artifact using 3D CAD software. The completed model was 3D printed and applied to the restoration of the original artifact. Our research addresses how digital technology can make cultural heritage restoration widely available to designers and researchers who wish to engage in this area.

스마트홈 기술은 빠르게 성장하고 있으나, 일반 사용자에게는 아직 널리 보급되지 않은 얼리어답터 단계에 머물러 있다. 스마트홈 보급 확대를 위해서는 잠재 사용자의 사용 동기와 우려에 대한 이해가 필요하나, 기존의 많은 연구들은 주로 스마트홈의 실제 사용자를 대상으로 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 일반 사용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하여 스마트홈을 통해 이루길 기대하는 목표와 구체적인 기능, 이에 따른 우려 사항을 파악하고자 하였다. 총 237건의 응답을 주제 분석 방법을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 연구 참여자들은 스마트홈을 통해 '편리함', '자기 관리', '절약', '안전/보안', '즐거움' 등의 목표를 이루길 기대하였다. 스마트홈 사용에 대한 우려는 188건을 수집하였으며, 주제는 '오작동', '보안/안전 위험', '사용자 부정적 행동 변화', '사용성 저하', '비용', '기술적 한계' 순으로 나타났다. 잠재 사용자가 지닌 스마트홈에 대한 사용 목표와 우려에 있어 실제 사용자와의 차이점이 나타나는 부분을 논의하고, 향후 일반 사용자를 대상으로 한 스마트홈 디자인에서 고려해야 할 부분을 제시하였다.

Despite the significant growth of smart home technologies, it is still in the early adopter stage, which is not yet widely adopted by mainstream users. To spread the smart home technologies, it is necessary to understand the motivations and concerns of prospective users. However, many existing studies have been conducted on actual users of smart home. In this study, we conducted a survey of general users to identify the goals and specific functions expected to be achieved through the smart home, and concerns associated with it. A total of 237 responses were analyzed through the thematic analysis method. As a result of the analysis, the participants expected to achieve goals such as 'convenience', 'self-management', 'saving', 'safety/security', and 'pleasure' through the smart home. 188 concerns about smart home use were collected. The themes of the concerns were 'malfunction', 'security/safety risk', 'negative change of user behavior', 'decreased usability', 'cost', and 'technical limitation' in order. We discussed the areas where prospective users differ from actual users in their goals and concerns about smart home, and suggested areas to be considered in smart home design for prospective users.

모바일 기기의 보편화에 따라 전체 검색 시장에 모바일 검색량의 점유율이 PC를 추월했다. 이러한 상황에서 모바일 기기의 이동성으로 인해 검색은 이전보다 더 넓은 범위의 맥락에서 수행되고 있으며, 사용자의 맥락을 고려한 Contextual Search의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 네이버 앱에서 제공되고 있는 인공지능 기반 검색 시스템인 지식베이스를 활용하여 사용자의 맥락을 고려한 모바일 검색 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 영화 주제를 개선대상으로 선정하여, 영화를 예매하고, 비교하며, 추천받는 3가지 시나리오를 제작한 후, 사용자 조사를 진행하였다. 사용자 조사는 총 21명을 대상으로 하였으며, 생각발화법을 동반한 심층 인터뷰와 아이트래킹을 통한 데이터 수집으로 이루어졌다. 실험 결과, '영화 비교 개선안', '영화 예매 개선안', '영화 추천 개선안'의 순서로 만족도가 높았다.

With the generalization of mobile devices, the share of mobile search volume in the entire search market has surpassed that of PC. In this situation, due to the characteristics of mobility of mobile devices, searches are being performed in a wider range of contexts than before. Therefore, this study intends to propose a mobile search model that considers the context of users by improving the knowledge base, an AI-based search system currently provided in the Naver application. The movie theme was selected and three prototypes were produced: movie reservation, movie comparison, and movie recommendation. The user survey was conducted on a total of 21 people, and was conducted through in-depth interviews with thinking-aloud and data collection through using eye tracking devices. As a result, the subjects were most satisfied with the movie comparison prototype, followed by movie reservation and movie recommendation.
