Diese Arbeit geht grundsatzlich davon aus, dass einerseits die Kommunikation die elementare Grundlage einer Gesellschaft ist und andererseits Leistung und Funktion der Kommunikation auf bestimmten Textsorten in unterschiedlichen Kommunikationsbereichen zu analysieren sind. In der Textlinguistik findet man die Anwendungsmoglichkeiten der Systemtheorie bei den Kommunikationsbereichen, wo wissenschaftliche Objekte als System konzeptualisiert werden. Die unterschiedlichen Kommunikationsbereiche korrelieren mit dem Begriff der sozialen Systeme. Der Unterschied zwischen der Klassifikation und Typologisierung besteht auf der Betrachtungsweise. Bei der Textklassifikation ist an einer Einteilung wie Klasse, Ordnung, Familie, Gattung und Art zu orientieren. Bei der Typologisierung werden Merkmale wie Stil, Medium und Themenentfaltung untersucht. Daraus ergibt sich, dass Texte klassifiziert und auch typologisiert werden konnen. Aus systematischer Sicht sind sechs textsortenlinguistische Dimensionen(wie situative, soziale, sachliche(thematische),funktionale, formulierungsadaquate und visuelle Dimension) zur Texttypologisierung zu beleuchten.

In diesem Beitrag bringe ich Themen zur Textaufnahme ein und diskutiere prinzipielle Fragen zum Unterricht uber Textwissenschaft an koreanischen Universitaten. In Korea wird im Vergleich mit anderen Landern (insbesondere dem deutschsprachigen Raum) das Thema Textaufnahme noch nicht so haufig aufgegriffen. Die Aufnahme bzw. Rezeption von literarischen Texten hat auch auf internationaler Ebene die Stufe des Recherchierens noch nicht verlassen. Deswegen habe ich in diesem Beitrag zuerst die aktuellen Stromungen der internationalen Forschung zur Textaufnahme vorgestellt. Auf dieser Grundlage wird die Semantiktheorie des Begrunders der koreanischen Sprachwissenschaften, Ju Si-gyeong, mit der Theorie der Literaturrezeption von Lee Hui-seung, der die Theorie der Vereinigung von Sprachwissenschaft und Literaturwissenschaft entwickelt hat, kombiniert, um ein Modell fur die Analyse und die Rezeption fur Gedichte, Romane, Buhnenstucke und Essays vorzuschlagen. Unter Berucksichtigung der Tendenzen in der internationalen Forschung zur Textlinguistik schlage ich fur Bachelorkurse der allgemeinen Sprachwissenschaft und der Philologien die Einfuhrung einer Lehrveranstaltung “Textanalyse”und fur Master- und Doktoratsstudien die Seminare "Textlinguistik" bzw. “Textwissenschaft” vor. Damit konnen wir die Textwissenschaft als selbststandiges Wissenschaftsgebiet etablieren. Außerdem schlage ich das Seminar “Ubungen zur Textwissenschaft” vor, um Spezialisten fur diesen Fachbereich auszubilden.

Is it possible for concepts to serve as a witness for the modern times? This is the very question that is now guiding the modern conceptual history. According to Reinhart Koselleck, a leading practitioner in the field, ``the modern`` is a linguistic outcome where hope and prediction toward ``the new time`` are expressed through historical consciousness. With this outcome, there appeared an irredeemable gap between the experience of the past and the expectation toward the future. The conflict over conceptual establishment began to have social and political impact. As a result, the goal of conceptual history took shape, which is to grope for new expectation toward the future amid the collapse of traditional society. At the core of this process is the semantics of 'Perspektivbegriffe`` which both expresses and leads the modern. One of those cases is the concept of ``history.`` The usage of ``history in general,`` which was expressed as singular generic before the French Revolution, came to show a coefficient of temporal change. This new concept of ``history`` represented temporal quality along with that of ``progress`` on the horizon of abstraction and universality.In Korea, ``history`` was accepted at first as a term referring to a foreign discipline. It soon promoted itself to a concept of movement reflecting the collapse of traditional society. ``The present,`` which called out ``history`` amid the crisis of imperialism, came to be considered the most important time and brought about hope and expectation breaking away from the past experience. It is noteworthy that there existed in this semantics traditional elements surviving through the formation of modern concept. In many cases, ``history`` could not escape from the symbolism of traditional moral instruction, so it incurred a nostalgic mood and memory about the mythical age, and served as an ideological means to glamorize national characteristics. Accordingly, it is not easy to gain valuable witness for the unilinear modern times. Hence the need to find out a new heuristic principle. Modern study of metaphor may provide a clue in that Korean concept of ``history`` contains basic meanings more than others. It will be the methodological task of Korean conceptual history to include symbolic and pictorial elements preceding the conceptual formation or underlying the base of concept.

In the linguistic pragmatics, there are terminological relation to text, discourse, conversation and dialog. Therefore, linguists who intend to study on text linguistics and dialog(discourse or conversation) analysis are very confused. ``Text`` means traditionally an entity of written and monolog language. However, many linguists think ``text`` can involve oral and bidirectional communication, too. The situation of ``text`` is similar to ``discourse``. ``Discourse`` is text for someone but conversation for another. It can be dialog and text for the others. The terms such as conversation, discourse and dialog used in the conversation(discourse) analysis are also very confusing. The purpose of this article is to clarify how the terms are used and can be understood in the linguistics. Additionally it will define the clear relation between text and dialog, especially, the dialogic features in the text.

Textlinguistics has brought academic interest as its approaching methods to language are corresponded with the directions that Korean language education has pursued. Textlinguistical approach to Korean language education can be observed in two ways: theoretical research and its application in the educational field. In this essay, the curriculum is mainly discussed in the course of examining how textlinguistics has influenced Korean language education in the educational field. Chapter two explores how textlinguistical approach has been performed in Grammar and grammar part in Korean. Textlinguistics has been treated mostly in Grammar from the Sixth Curriculum. And it is shown that textlinguistics has expanded its content`s scope as it gradually stretches its area to grammar part in Korean. As the curriculum has been revised, it is detected that focal points have been changed from structural aspects of text to basic knowledge and context of language usage. Chapter three investigates textlinguistical approach appearing in the area of Korean language usage. As far as Korean language usage is concerned,the types and kinds of text are dealt with very significantly, and in the practical category among content systems text typology functions as a theoretical base. Furthermore, it is found that contents based on textlinguistics such as cohesion and coherence have been placed as text components in the area of Korean language usage.

Historiograhie oder Wissenschaftsgeschichts-schreibung ist die lingusitische Teildisziplin, bei der es sich darum handelt, die linguistischen Fakten in einen Zusammenhang zu sezten, um den Verlauf der Theorieentwicklung aufzuzeigen. Die Geschichte der linguistischen Historiographie in Korea lasst sich auf die 1950er Jahre zuruckverfolgen, besonders im Rahmen der Koreanistik. Sie erldebte jedoch seit den 1990er Jahren einen richtigen Aufschwung. Nun stellt sich die Frage, in welcher Form die linguistischen Geschichtsschreibungen vollzogen sind, Erforderlich ist im damit, zu uberprufen, welche Ziele sie verfolgen, nach welchen Verfahren sie zustande kommen, und auf welche inhaltliche Elemente sie Wert legen. Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit besteh darin, auf der metahistoriographischen Ebene vorhandene historiograhische Werke der Linguistik in Korea kritissch zu betrachten, was uber die bloße Deskription hinausgehen. Es wird auch darauf abgezielt, ein Modell fur die lingusitistische Geschichtsschreibung aufzubauen.

The aim of this paper is to review the interaction between text linguistics and Korean Language education from 1996 to 2012 based on the remarkable academic articles. Period is divided into 4 sub-periods; the first is the late 1990s, the second is from 2001 to 2005, the third is from 2006 to 2009, the last period is recent 3years. The characteristic features of each period were described. During the first period, the interaction was very few. There are just 3 articles that have coherence and cohesion to the area of Korean reading education and writing education. Therefore, we named it fomentation period. The second period is called unfolding period. During this period, the studies haven`t been done in earnest, but it can be found that the methodology and terminology of text linguistics have applied to the more area of Korean language education study. The third period is called expansion period. At that time, quantitative researches prevailed. The continuous researches on being pragmatic were done with being applying to language functional teaching. The fourth period is called diffusion. The various researches applied to language functional education and discourse structure, text type and discourse markers have been studied. Speech act is the most frequent and popular research theme all over the periods.

The purpose of this study was to examine reports on the patriotic deed of Martyr Ahn Jung-geun in overseas and domestic newspapers in an effort to shed light on the way of looking at the incident and the way of performing ideological roles in the newspapers. The patriotic deed of Martyr Ahn Jung-keun had the largest impact on the Korean independence movement. But few domestic newspapers commented on this incident from an objective perspective since our country was under the Japanese occupation at that time. In contrast, two newspapers that were published by ethic Koreans abroad put a high value on his deed as a brilliant achievement and made a full-fledged report of that, which were respectively titled“the Sinhansinbo”and“the Daedonggongbo”. The two newspapers that were published abroad were free from Japanese restraint, and they revealed the imperialism and aggression of Japan, criticized Ito Hirobumi as an enemy of the nation and praised Ahn Jung-geun. He went into headlines as a patriot who sacrificed himself for the sake of national independence. On the contrary, domestic newspapers that were conscious of Japan didn`t report the incident in an active way. When the verbal expressions of the newspapers were analyzed, there was a trend that the domestic newspapers understated the incident, and this tendency was evident in terms of not only verbal expressions but the amount of the report, the arrangement of articles and newspaper design.

This research investigates the meanings and uses of ttattushata ``warm``, one of the adjectives used to signal speaker`s judgement about temperature, through an analysis of a Korean written corpus. First, this study examines the frequency of ttattushata and grammatical forms, showing the dominant attributive usage of ttattushata with the rate of 61.1%. Second, it shows the distribution of meanings of ttattushata by classifying types of nouns co-occurring with ttatushata in attributive and predicative positions. The meanings of ttattushata can be summarized as in the following: (i) denoting mild temperature of weather, concrete objects, body parts, etc. and (ii) showing friendly atmosphere, attitudes, behaviors, etc. Third, after examining the literal and extended meanings of ttattushata, this work characterizes abstract meanings of ttattushata in terms of metaphor theory, showing that the metaphorically extended meanings are derived from the conceptual metaphor that views abstract notions as temperature-transmitting concrete objects by matching concrete objects to abstract notions/entities. Finally, this research claims that a corpus-based approach is a useful tool in characterizing many closely related lexical items in written texts.

The aim of this study is to explain implication occurring in conversation and to suggest the orientation of its teaching. Today, specially learning of speaking-listening in Korean language education follows Grice`s 4 maxims as important rules. Grice described these expectations in terms of a Co-operative Principle and maxims of Quality (truthfulness), Quantity (informativeness), Relation (relevance) and Manner (clarity) which speakers are expected to observe(Grice 1961). But Grice`s theories have the meaning to explain the implications when they very often occur in everyday-conversation. The interpretation a rational hearer should choose is the one that best satisfies those expectations. The goal of inferential pragmatics is to explain how the hearer infers the speaker`s meaning on the basis of the evidence provided. And implication theory is connected with Sperber & Wilson`s the relevance theories. They share Grice`s intuition that utterances raise expectations of relevance, including the need for a Co-operative Principle and maxims, the focus on pragmatic processes which contribute to implicatures rather than to explicit, truth-conditional content, and the treatment of figurative utterances as deviations from a maxim or convention of truthfulness. In the education of conversation, it is important that students know maxims as the mechanism of implication but in itself.
