Although the Korean Sajamu came from China, the purpose of Sahamu changed over time. The first record relating to Sajamu is the one that Mokwoosaja is used for conquering Woosankuk at Samguksagi. After that, looking at the name of the music produced by Wooreuk, we could assume the appearance of Sajamu. It is shown that Sajamu existed appeared by word Sanye in Hyangyak Japyoung Ohsu by Choi Chi Won. However, we do not know the appearance of Saja in detail. We only assume that the appearance of Saja in Sajamu is 일인오두형 and Sajamu is ritual military arts with historical significance. However, we hardly find the record of Sajamu in the documents of Korea Dynasty. In the record of Sajamu in Chosen Dynasty, it is found that entertaining and dramatic elements as well as the meaning of chasing out 백택 are grown together and developed into these following two types. Firrt, there was Sajamu danced within the people; second, within the palace. The Sajamu within the people was played by men in masks and amusing and technical. Also, it is developed to the popular play that relieved the peoples anger and suffering with dramatic element. Although the 정재사자무 is the one that originated within people and developed with the palace, special technical movement is not developed except 개구고치 symbolizing thre function of 벽사 in the form of Sajamu recorded in 중정재무도홀기. Although it is considered as the phenomenon occurred through the transforming from the sajamu played by men and into the one by women in palace, we could find out that sajamu had the meaning of 벽사진경, the welfare of a nation and the long life of a king
