Based on the Ki(energy) philosophy of Choi Han-ki, this paper examines the aspects of accompaniment society (Daedong society) that he asserts and examines the possibility of establishing modern Korean-style multiculturalism. Choi Han-ki, a late 19th-century Korean practical science(Silhak) scolar, wanted to see a new world outside the world of Neo-Confucianism. By accumulating knowledge based on experience and extending it to a method of guessing and communication, he designed pneumatics(Kihak) to realize a Daedong society in which the natural energy of society, the world, and heaven and earth circulates and repeats from me. As a prerequisite for understanding Choi Han-ki's philosophy and realizing a multicultural society, the nature of multiculturalism as a flexible 'frame' is first examined, and 'between' in 'inter-' and the subject in between. Next, the concept of Choi Han-ki's 'Ki philosophy' and the core elements surrounding it, such as the types and communication methods of experiences, guesses, and rhymes, were reviewed, and ways to realize them were considered by linking them with multiculturalism. In conclusion, it was revealed that multicultural education and global citizenship education through multicultural field experiences are necessary to pursue the expansion of the horizon of perception through the accumulation and expansion of experiences using perception. As a way to establish Korean-style multiculturalism and lead global multiculturalism, Daedong civic education, changes in multicultural policies, and methods for spreading overseas were also briefly suggested. As a follow-up work to these discussions, it was proposed to continuously examine the possibility of establishing Korean-style multiculturalism through Korean ideology and religion. Under the COVID-19 pandemic, this study explored the changes in perception toward multicultural families through big-data analytics of news articles. On the basis of the findings, it discussed policy support measures that would help members of multicultural families. This study was based on online news articles to analyze the perceptual changes toward multicultural families during the COVID-19 era and employed a news big-data analysis system called “BIGKinds” to collect news articles. As a search term, “multicultural family” was used, and online news articles published between 2019 and 2020 were collected to compare before and after the pandemic.
The analysis of related keywords to “multicultural families” that appeared in the 2020 news articles revealed that negative related keywords have increased compared to those published in 2019, the pre-pandemic period. On the basis of such results, this study suggested several support measures for multicultural families in the era of the pandemic as follows.
First, it is important to provide psychological and emotional support for these families.
Second, it is necessary to recognize the flaws in news reports on multicultural families and to remedy the situation.
Third, it is required to establish social networks centered on areas where multicultural families reside, which can lead to a high level of awareness of disaster-related public services. (Digital Seoul Culture Arts University, Sangmyung University)

The purpose of this study is to suggest directions and policies in the establishment of policies for foreign workers in Nonsan, based on the survey on foreigners in Nonsan. As a result of this study, the lack of Korean language education, the absence of grievances and residency counceling, the absence of education and consulting for foreign worker employers and foreign workers, the absence of measures to promote participation of local community, and measures to enhance the cultural acceptance of Koreans were found in the support of forein workers living in Nonsan, appeared to be absent. As a policy suggestion, first, it is premised on the establishment of a delivery system according to the policy goals and key tasks of the foreigner policy of Nonsan City. Accordingly, the division of the foreign policy division, which plans and oversees foreign policy as the Donggo Dongrak domestic administrative department of Nonsan City Hall, and the Foreigner Support Division, which manages organic cooperation with multicultural institution is required. Second, it is required to conduct Korean language classes linked to multicultural organizations and to operate Korean language classes for foreign workers by regions where foreign workers are concentrated and by each area. Third, it is required to open the Cheonan Foreign Workers Support Center Nonsan Branch or to establish the Nonsan Foreign Welfare Center for foreigner grievance counseling and residency counseling. Fourth, in the absence of labor counseling, human rights counseling, and return support for foreign workers' employers and foreign workers, unified education and on-site consulting were conducted. Fifth, a community was established to promote foreign workers' participation in the local community, A plan is required to involve foreign workers in the Foreign Representatives' Association so that they can advise and monitor the information. Finally, in order to enhance cultural receptivity, a platform for global citizenship education should be established in connection with multicultural institutions and lifelong learning centers in Nonsan City.(Mokwon University)

This study started from cognition about the significance of enhancing scholastic achievement of marriage immigrants from the perspective of life-long education. The purpose of this study was to examine the existing status and cases of the scholastic achievement educational programs for marriage immigrants and derive future issues. In the era of multiculturalism, marriage immigrants are also an important subject of life-long education and hence, it was noteworthy to discuss needs of reviewing the significance of qualification examination to them. The study confirmed that not only the enhancement of academic level of education for self-realization, children's education and employment is significant to marriage immigrants but integration in to Korean society as an important building block is also substantial for them. Furthermore, the study revealed that currently, the education of qualification examination for marriage immigrants is based on social integration and adult literacy education, however, a detailed discussion about each features and varied points are needed. In a survey conducted in this study, the cases of education for qualification examination in Eumseong County(Eumseong-gun) showed that marriage immigrants in their 20s and 30s who emigrated to Korea and lived between 2 to 5 years have highest participation in the education for qualification examination. Moreover, the higher the Korean language proficiency(TOPIK level 4 or higher) of marriage immigrants, the higher the passing rate of the qualification examination was noted. Henceforth, as a follow-up study, a customized and in-depth education plans considering various situations for enhancing the academic level of marriage immigrants through Korean language/multicultural education interface shall be conducted. The purpose of this research is to find ways to provide Korean traditional culture education for students from multicultural families through the development of learning models using micro-learning techniques. This research designs class models by applying multi-store models and task memory models, which serve as the theoretical background of micro-learning techniques, that leads to memory recall-memory storage-memory activation, and activate learners' cognitive abilities to reach medium and long-term memory allowing learners to store what they have learned as work memories for longer periods of time and utilize them. To this end, this research presents teaching-learning case utilizing motion capture of Nalmoebukchum(Nalmoe Drum Dance). It is expected that Korean traditional dance education using micro-learning techniques will reduce mental difficulties that multi-cultural learners may feel while settling in Korea and enhance cultural education and social adaptation by gaining emotional stability through culture. 코로나 전염병은 짧은 기간 안에 전세계로 확산되어 2020년도 국제사회는 코로나 팬데믹에 빠졌다. 2020년 2월 중순에는 중국정부의 강력한 통제로 점차 확산속도가 늦추어지면서 진정세로 돌아섰다. 하지만 중국에서 시작된 코로나 전염병은 한국, 일본, 이란, 심지어유럽 미주까지 급속도로 번지면서 전세계가 전염병사태 (Pandemic)를 맞이하였다. 이러한 전염병을 억제할 수 있는 방법은 오직 백신이다. 인간이 2021년도에 코로나 팬데믹을 이겨낼 수 있을지 아직 미지수이다. 코로나는 각 국가 및 국민의 모든 측면에 영향을 미치며, 한국에서 유학하는 중국유학생들은 그 중의 한 그룹이다. K-culture 열풍을 맞춰 2019년도 기록적인 중국유학생들이 한국에 와서 유학했으며, 2020년도 코로나 팬데믹에도 불구하고 많은 중국유학생들이 여러 가지 힘든 상황을 극복하고 한국에서 유학했다. 하지만 겨울방학 때 이들이 또한 코로나 때문에 중국출국할지 고민에 빠졌다. 출국시 PCR검사, 재입국허가, 출국후 14일 격리, 출국과정 코로나 감염 위험성, 다시 귀국시 관련 검사 및 한국 입국후 재격리 등 여러 가지 힘든 점이 있지만, 출국 안 할 경우에 고도감, 명절에 부모님 옆에 없을 시 스트레스 등 감당하기 힘든 점도 피할 수 없다. 본 논문은 한국 모 대학교 중국유학생을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사 및 계량통계 연구방법을 사용하여 중국유학생의 방학출국의사를 연구했다. 그리고 이를 통해 유학생이 이러한 의사결정을 한 이유를 연구하였다. 2020년도에 한국에 유학하러 오지 못한 학생 수가 많이 늘었고, 2020년도 겨울방학 때 중국에 들어가는 학생수가 많이 줄었다. 코로나사태 및 감정요소의 상호작용은 또한 중국유학생이 중국 출국해서 겨울방학을 보내게 하는 큰 원인이다.
