1해수용 재료의 TIG용접후 열처리에 따른 특성 평가

In this study, in the selection of materials for the elements of a small plant, those with high resistance to corrosion are selected and the material properties of coatings for corrosion prevention are evaluated. In addition, corrosion characteristics and material analysis were performed on the welded part, and the hardness characteristics of the welded part, heat-affected part, and the base metal were evaluated. In the case of the post-weld-heat-treated(PWHT) specimen, the corrosion resistance of STS 316 was lower than that of the specimen without the PWHT due to the formation of intergranular carbide. As a result of evaluating the distribution of the hardness of the weld before and after the PWHT, the hardness of the specimen after the PWHT increased by about 20 Hv. As a result of the corrosion test on the welded specimen, the weight loss tended to increase as the time increased. In the case of the PWHT specimen, the corrosion resistance tended to be significantly lower than that of the specimen without PWHT due to the formation of intergranular carbide.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of spherodizing heat treatment holding time on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the accelerated cooling-treated API X70 steel, which is mainly used as a structural material for line pipe steel for natural gas pipes. The accelerated cooling-treated API X70 steel was spherodizing treated at 700°C for 12~48 h. The microstructure was observed using an OM and a FEG-SEM, and mechanical properties were obtained by tensile test. The microstructure of the API X70 steel was banded in the hot rolling direction, and the polygonal ferrite(PF) adjacent to pearlite(P) has mainly a fine size, and coarse PF and fine acicular ferrite were formed in the middle of P and P. As the spherodizing treatment time increased, the number of carbide particles decreased and its distribution interval increased, and the ferrite grain size was coarsened. The tensile strength decreased and the ductility increased with spherodizing treatment time, and the yield point elongation was disappeared in a stress-strain curve after the spherodizing treatment.

As artificial intelligence technology advances, it is being applied to various application fields. Artificial intelligence is performing well in the field of image recognition and classification. Chip design specialized in this field is also actively being studied. Artificial intelligence-specific chips are designed to provide optimal performance for the applications. At the design task, memory component optimization is becoming an important issue. In this study, the optimal algorithm for the memory size exploration is presented, and the optimal memory size is becoming as a important factor in providing a proper design that meets the requirements of performance, cost, and power consumption.

Remanufacturing is one of the most important resource recycling technology in response to resource depletion and environmental pollution. Domestic remanufacturing industry don't invigorate compared to other advanced countries because of low price and reliability of remanufactured product. In this study, remanufactured hydraulic pump and solenoid valve were evaluated durability by accelerated life test. In order that standard remanufacturing process was developed by core analysis and failure mode and effect analysis. And cores were remanufactured by standard remanufacturing process. For accelerated life test, the evaluation item and criteria were deduced by results of FMEA, reliability standards and enterprise interior criteria. To evaluate durability of remanufactured product, the remanufactured hydraulic pump and solenoid valve were evaluated performance after accelerated life test and the results were satisfied with criteria. This study showed that remanufactured products have a similar level of durability to new products by definition of remanufacturing.

Dynamic object recognition is an important task for autonomous vehicles. Since dynamic objects exhibit a higher collision risk than static objects, our own trajectories should be planned to match the future state of moving elements in the scene. Time information such as optical flow can be used to recognize movement. Existing optical flow calculations are based only on camera sensors and are prone to misunderstanding in low light conditions. In this regard, to improve recognition performance in low-light environments, we applied a normalization filter and a correction function for Gamma Value to the input images. The low light quality improvement algorithm can be applied to confirm the more accurate detection of Object's Bounding Box for the vehicle. It was confirmed that there is an important in object recognition through image prepocessing and deep learning using YOLO.

In this paper, we propose a sorting method for extracting accurate license plate information, which is currently used in Korea, after detecting objects using YOLO. We propose sorting methods for the five types of vehicle license plates managed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport by classifying the plates with the number of lines, Korean characters, and numbers. The results of experiments with 5 license plates show that the proposed algorithm identifies all license plate types and information by focusing on the object with high reliability score in the result label file presented by YOLO and deleting unnecessary object information. The proposed method will be applicable to all systems that recognize license plates.

In this study, calcium alginate based cation exchange membrane was prepared and used to develop membrane capacitive deionization (MCDI) system for effective hardness control. As a major result, the MCDI with Ca-alginate membrane showed 27% better deionization capacity than the MCDI with a commercial cation exchange membrane. This superior improvement in the deionization capacity was expected to be due to the high ratio of transport number/electrical resistance (Sc/Rratio) of Ca-alginate membrane. In addition, the MCDI with Ca-alginate membrane showed better deionization performance than the MCDI with Ca-alginate coating. This was because the space between the electrode and the Ca-alginate membrane was utilized for ion adsorption. The preliminary results indicated that the MCDI with Ca-alginate membrane can be a viable technique for the hardness control.

In this study, flow analysis was performed on three types of strainers for ships with different flow rates to predict the pressure drop of the strainer due to the filter of strainer. In the case of flow analysis, the flow analysis was performed by applying the porous media method by applying the resistance value derived by Ergun's equation to the filter position. As a result of the analysis, it was found that when the dimensions of the strainer body were small, the influence of the flow rate on the pressure drop was large. In addition, the amount of pressure drop and the flow rate are almost linearly proportional, and an analysis formula that can predict the amount of pressure drop was derived. In order to predict the amount of pressure drop of the strainer when blockage exist in the strainer filter, the analysis was performed by introducing the resistance ratio to derive the prediction equation. Using this equation, it is thought that it will be possible to predict the performance of the strainer due to blockage in the future strainer design and field application.

In recent years, contamination of drinking water sources has emerged as a serious social problem, such as a large number of impurities in tap water or groundwater or the supply of suitable water due to rust of pipes. Although the government and public institutions are implementing various measures to protect water sources, they cannot improve water quality in a short period of time because of the enormous cost involved. Therefore, in recent years, preference has been given to a device that converts tap water, which is hard water, into soft water by installing a separate water softener at the faucet from which tap water is discharged. However, the existing filtration device has a problem that filtration performance is gradually lowered when impurities accumulate in the filter, requiring continuous filter replacement. In this study, the optimal design of the filter housing was performed to develop a water softener that can be washed when impurities accumulate on the filter inside the water softener connected to the faucet. For optimal design of the filter housing, fluid and fluid-structural interaction analysis were performed on the design pressure to determine the shape and thickness of the housing, and design review was performed through prototype.

In this study, the optimum gating system was designed, and the two zinc alloy worm gears were manufactured in single process by applying a symmetrical gating system with 2 runners. The SRG ratio is set to 1 : 0.9 : 0.6, and the cross-sectional shapes such as sprue, runner and gate are designed. In order to determine whether the design of the gating system is appropriate, casting analysis was carried out. It takes 4.380 s to charge the casting 100%, 0.55 to 0.6 m/s at the gates and solidification begins after the casting is fully charged. The amount of air entrapment is 2% in the left gear and 6% in the right gear. Hot spots occurred in the center hole of the gear, and pores were found to occur around the upper part of the hole. Therefore, the design of the casting method is suitable for worm gears. CT analysis showed that all parts of worm gear were distributed with fine pores and some coarse pores were distributed around the central hole of worm gear. The yield strength and tensile strength were 220 MPa, 285 MPa, and the elongation rate was 8%. Vickers hardness is 82 HV.
