The purpose of this study is to examine the present status of online Korean music education that is newly provided in 'new normal era' by dividing into school education and art education and to discuss the direction of Korean music education and further tasks. Also, the following study problems were set to achieve these purposes of the study. Accordingly, to analyze the study trends for non-contact online education, 'text-based network analysis method' was used. As a result, in the online Korean music education conducted in school education, 'class centered on content utilization' was utilized with very high frequency because of teachers' burden on bilateral class. However, there were the problem that the details of contents have insufficient relationship with the contents of curriculum, and the problem that the contents of Korean music education are one-sided to listening domain only. In case of online Korean music class provided in art education aspects, 'real-time bilateral class' was actively utilized. Because this is higher education where self-directed learning is possible, the positive changes were shown for online class such as 1:1 individual customized instruction is possible, and it can be freely utilized without regard to time and place, etc., but absence of communication, access traffic, change in sound quality, etc. were found to be the items to be improved. These results showed the remaining tasks for effective and efficient Korean music education at this moment where online remote education is becoming one of education method due to COVID-19. First, it is required to develop digital-based platform or application specialized in art and physical education in which all domains of Korean music can be educated. Also, it is required to develop various Korean music contents appropriate for contents of curriculum and level of grade groups or school level. Finally, the process of creating educational environment for training or completing course that can develop appropriate teaching-learning method and improve expertise for remote class for online-based real-time class also remains as the task to consider.

In the past, music education was a way for students to see music as 'activities through practice and experience' and to develop their musical skills and musicality. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, music education has also been switched to untact education, making practical music education difficult. The core of practical music education is to support and help students achieve balanced growth and development of body and mind through their musical imagination. In addition, musical imagination must have the ability to empathize to read the emotions and emotions of others. This is because it moves people through musical empathy and enables them to grow into a social and ethical self. Music education does not aim to acquire simple skills, but to demonstrate social competence while fully demonstrating the inner imagination of human beings. It should be the foundation of holistic human education so that human beings can grow up properly. To this end, the instructor should try and utilize various learning forms so that sympathetic classes with students can take place even in the untact era. If self-esteem is enhanced through self-satisfaction, pleasure, and satisfaction through music education, even non-face-to-face classes will help develop communication and empathy with others, helping to develop stable emotions.
