초록보기

This study aimed to analyze the changes in Korean creative dance by examining the history of regular performances by the National Dance Company, identifying the trends by period through a literature review and analysis of its works. This study revealed that from the 1st to the 4th period, Korean creative dance had a challenge to new genres, including fusion and acceptance for creating new works, and formed a basic framework during this period. The 5th period has witnessed the continuous development of Korean creative dance and methods for the transmission and preservation of traditional dance.

초록보기

The survey was conducted on 184 contemporary dance majors nationwide to examine the self-leadership effects of university life adaptation and verify the intermediate effects of college support. The results showed that self-leadership behavior-oriented strategies had a static effect on academic adaptation in college life, and that behavior-oriented and constructive thinking strategies had a static effect on social adaptation. Finally, it was found that professor support acts as an arbitrator in behavior- oriented strategies, academic adaptation, social adaptation, individual emotional adaptation, constructive thinking, and social adaptation. "Application and development of a self-directed education system," "improvement of self-directed awareness through follow-up research," and "school-level support for adapting to university life" were presented, focusing on the results and discussions.

초록보기

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of a ballet exercise program on depression scale(CES-D), elderly fitness(SFT), and natural killer(NK) cell activity in elderly women. Twenty elderly women subjects aged 65 to 75 years were randomly assigned 10 each to the exercise group(EG) and a control group(CG). The ballet exercise program was 50 minutes and performed 3 times a week for 12-weeks.
As a result, CES-D showed an interaction effect between time and group, and it was significantly decreased in the EG, and significantly increased in the CG, and there was a significant difference in the post-test between groups. SFT showed an interactrion effect between time and group in all variables, and all of them were significantly increased in the EG, and there was a significant difference in the change values between groups. NK-cell activity showed an interaction effect between time and group, and it was significantly increased in the EG, and there was a significant difference in the change values between groups.
TTherefore, the ballet exercise program of this study had a positive effect on improving depression symptoms, physical strength, and NK-cell activity in elderly women, and is expected to be used as an effective exercise intervention for their physical and mental health.

This study is to investigate the educational/therapeutic value by applying the somatic movement breathe(SMB) principle to the Byuksa Jeman Jung's Seungmu (BJJS) Yeombuljangdan. In the first beat of Yeombuljangdan, the Hangeul Janggo pronunciation “gideng” is the upper breath, the flat breath, and the lower breath in the 3 sobak. The awareness of myeongmunhyeol started the lower respiration from the danjeon and raised it upward, and sutaeyangsojang-gyeong activated it. It is expected that BJJS in the metaverse will become a frame of reference for the principle of SMB. purpose of this research is to consider the meaning of communication process in dance, by applying the concept from Phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty.

초록보기

This paper adopts a methodology that compares and analyzes how energy is used in Korean creative dances through Hyun-ja Kim and 'Lived (生) Dance' and Ki-in Kim's 'Ki(氣) Dance' in the early 90s.
Through Kim Hyun-ja's representative works < One Day (Haru) > and Kim Ki-in's < Dom >, the key dance in Korean creative dance takes a contrasting form of reduction and expansion in the way of expressing movement, but It was possible to find something in common.
'Ki(Energy) dance' shown in the Korean creative dance world is not a cold dance of the form of moderation of Western minimal dances, but a foot of the artist's spirit that conveys the aesthetics of 'Rhythmic vitality (氣韻生動)' to communicate with the audience and unite naturally as part of self-reflection and training.

초록보기

Eros is an important element and means of completing 'mental eros' as a spiritual communion between the creator (dancer) and the listener (audience). Plato's eros is the beauty of the soul that transcends the beauty of the body. When we call the existence of a world of the soul that cannot be seen with our eyes as 'idea', in the invisible world, the audience reaches the spiritual pleasure by feeling and understanding the abstract image of the creator from the inner world. You could call it a desire. We experience, feel, touch, and perceive objects through our bodies. The body (body) is an absolute being with sensory perception, but it is regarded as a worldly thing with respect to reason and truth. When we experience an object, the only way we can easily approach it is through our bodily sense organs. The moment we experience, sense, and perceive an object, we feel a sense of satisfaction for the soul. In works of art, the dancer is conscious of the movement of her body (body), senses the audience's reaction through the senses of the body, and the process of aesthetic experience felt through the vividly expressed movement of the dancer is the source of artistic impulse. After all, the soul interacts with the body in the body, revealing certain qualities. Seen in this way, in a large sense, the audience is the spiritual aspect of the figure with the potential of the vitality of the soul (eros), and the dancer is an artistic pathway leading to perfection by combining the emotions that show their potential through movement into the soul and body. it's sam.

초록보기

This study aimed to evaluate the mediation effects of grit and emotions in the relationship between passion and performance in university dance classes and to test invariance in the structural model across dance careers. 446 dance students (82 males, 364 females) completed an questionnaire about their passion for dance, grit, emotions, and performance. Data were conducted via descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations, structural equation modeling, and multi-group analysis to rest the study hypotheses. Results of a series of structural equation modeling analysis and indirect effect test showed harmonious passion was positively linked to dance performance through the mediating roles of grit and positive emotions, that obsessive passion was linked to dance performance through the mediating roles of grit and positive emotions. Also dance students'grit and negative emotions were not mediated the relationship between two types of passion and dance performance, but two different types of passion had directly impact on grit. Results of a multi-group structural equation modeling showed the structural relationships among the study variables were variant across dance careers. These results suggest that both types of passion, grit, and positive emotions are factors enhancing dance students'class engagement and academic achievement. Future research is needed to investigate a mediating and moderated effects of self control, emotional regulation, mindsets, and basic psychological needs on dance students'performance.
