1간호대학생의 MBTI 성격유형에 따른 자아존중감, 스트레스 대처방식 및 회복탄력성 영향요인

Objectives: This study aimed to identify the effects of self-esteem and stress coping styles on resilience in nursing students according to the Myers- Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Methods: A descriptive study was conducted. Data were collected from 205 nursing senior students and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. Results: In terms of self-esteem, social support-seeking stress coping style, and resilience, extroversion was significantly higher than introversion in MBTI preference. Among all factors, self-esteem had the greatest effect on resilience (r=0.53), followed by the emotion-focused coping style (r=-0.31) and the problem-focused coping style (r=0.23), with an explanation power of 57.1%. Conclusions: The results of this study indicate that self-esteem is an essential factor affecting resilience. Thus, nursing intervention programs for improvement of resilience in nursing students should be considered by the degree of self-esteem based on the MBTI personality preference.

This study attempted to investigate the adaptation to school life and career awareness by assessing the MBTI personality type among college students from Dept. of Cosmetology, and the results found the followings: First, concerning personality type by preference index, extraversion (E), sensing (S), feeling (F) and judgment (J) were found. In terms of personality type by function, ‘SF’ was the highest, followed by ‘ST,’ ‘NF’ and ‘NT.’ In terms of personality type by temperament, ‘SJ,’ ‘SP,’ ‘NF’ and ‘NT’ were observed in order. Therefore, there should be further studies on the development of career counseling methods and a counseling manual considering the aptitude and interests of the students majoring in cosmetology.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify decision-making styles, critical thinking disposition, and self-leadership according to Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality type in nursing students. Methods: The sample consisted of 200 nursing students. Data were analyzed descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe, and Pearson correlation analysis. Results: According to the MBTI preference index, Rational decision-making style was significantly higher in thinking (T), the intuitive style was higher in extroversion (E) and intuition (N), and critical thinking disposition and self-leadership were higher in intuition (N) and thinking (T). There were significant differences in decision-making styles, critical thinking disposition, and self-leadership by MBTI functions. The dependent decision-making style was higher in SF type and NF type, the critical thinking disposition was higher in SF type, and NT type and self-leadership were higher in NF type and NT type. Decision-making styles, critical thinking disposition, and self-leadership in nursing students had a significant correlation with each other. Conclusion: In this study, there was a statistically significant correlation between MBTI personality type in nursing students and their decision-making styles, critical thinking disposition, and self-leadership. Therefore, when planning a nursing education program, it seems necessary to adjust the program regarding the students’ MBTI personality type.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, university education has chosen an alternative to online learning. This online learning is expected to continue until the current situation is over. The purpose of this study is to identify the differences among stress factors and satisfaction factors according to MBTI personality types of service department online learner. And to provide basic data for the improvement of online education program. The results are as follows. First, the proportion of female students majoring in the service field was high, and they preferred viewing online classes. Second, ESTJ type was the most frequent among 16 MBTI personality types, and according to preference, outward type(E), sensory type(S), emotion type(F), judgment type(J). The most common type of sensory judgment was SJ. Third, online class stress according to MBTI personality type appeared in the order of NT>NF>SJ>SP. Lastly, satisfaction with online classes according to MBTI personality type was in the order of NF>SJ>SP=NT. This study is meaningful in measuring the stress and satisfaction of learners' online class when university classes were converted to online in an unexpected situation due to COVID-19. In future research, it is necessary to expand targets by major and region.

본 연구는 저출산이라는 국가적 위기 속에서 다시 주목받고 있는 미혼모ㆍ부에 집중하였으며, 특히 시설이라는 울타리 없이 바로 사회에 노출되지만 상대적으로 부족한 지원을 받고 있는 재가양육 미혼모ㆍ부의 자립촉진에 연구 목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구목적을 위해 MBTI를 활용한 집단상담 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 총 10회기로 도입은 마음 열기, 전개는 목표 만들기, 지표별 그룹 작업, 유형별 스트레스 대처방안, 자녀ㆍ원가족ㆍ자신과의 관계 맺기 그리고 종결은 자립 의지 다지기, 집단 상담 내 경험 공유하기 등으로 구성하였다. 본 연구는 재가양육 미혼모ㆍ부를 대상으로 하였다는 점 그리고 자립을 자기수용을 통한 내적성장과 심리ㆍ사회ㆍ경제적 독립이 포함된 측면으로 바라보고 다차원적 자립촉진을 위한 프로그램을 개발하였다는 점에서 연구적 의의가 있다.


This study focused on single mothers and fathers who are drawing attention again amid the national crisis of low birth rates, and especially on promoting self-reliance of single mothers and fathers who are exposed to society without a fence called facilities. For this purpose of research, we developed a collective counseling program using MBTI, 10 sessions in total introduction is mind-opening, creating goals, working with groups by indicator, coping with stress by type, and establishing relationships with children, family members, and oneself and the termination consisted of strengthening self-reliance and sharing experiences in group counseling. This study is meaningful in that it was conducted on single mothers and fathers of re-rearing, and that it considered self-reliance in terms of internal growth through self-acceptance, psychological, social and economic independence, and developed a program for multidimensional self-reliance.

이 연구에서는 지방정부 공무원의 MBTI 주기능과 개인혁신행동의 관계를 경험적으로 분석하였다. 4차 산업혁명이라는 거대한 변혁의 흐름 속에서 각 지방정부는 조직구성원의 개인혁신행동에 관심을 두고 있고, 최근 공공조직을 중심으로 구성원의 개인혁신행동에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 연구를 위해 전남도청과 무안군청의 공무원들을 조사대상자로 선정하고 설문조사를 통해 MBTI 주기능과 개인혁신행동을 분석하였다. 수집된 데이터는 SPSS 분산분석과 회귀분석 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 지방정부 공무원의 MBTI 주기능은 개인혁신행동과 유의한 관련이 있었다. 특별히 주기능 사고형(DF-T)과 주기능 직관형(DF-N)이 개인혁신행동에 긍정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 추가적인 분석에서 인구통계학적 변수인 성별은 개인혁신행동과 유의한 관련이 없었고, 근속연수는 개인혁신행동에 긍정적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 조직인적자원관리와 자기이해를 바탕으로 한 혁신행동 강화 전략 프로그램 운영에 정책적 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 본다.


The purpose of this study is to examine the relation between dominant functions, using Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI), and individual innovation behaviors of local government officials. In the midst of the great transformation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, each local government is interested in the individual innovation behaviors of its members. Recently, research on such individual innovation behaviors has been actively conducted around public organizations, but research on the relationship between personality type and innovation behaviors in public organizations is still insufficient. Hence, further research is necessary. For this study, the subjects were civil servants working in the halls of Jeonnam Province and Muan County. Data were analyzed using the SPSS package. According to the research results, the dominant function is significantly associated with individual innovation behaviors, particularly with the positively involved dominant functions T and N. Even if gender and years of service are controlled for, the dominant function is a significant variable related to individual innovation behaviors. These findings suggest that organizational managers need an innovative behavior-enhancement strategy program based on understanding one's personality type.

7고등학생들의 수학 학습양식과 MBTI 성격기질별 특징

본 연구에서는 고등학생들의 수학 학습양식, 성격기질별 특징을 확인하고 각 성격기질별로 수학학습 전략을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 375명의 고등학교 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 MBTI 성격유형 검사, 수학학습 선호도 조사를 실시하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 많은 학생들이 사교육의 효과를 높게 평가하고 교과서보다는 참고서를 활용한 수학학습을 더 선호하였다. 둘째, 학습 태도, 학습 습관(개념이해 집중도), 문제해결 전략(문제이해 노력, 다양한 전략 사용), 자기 관리(메타인지) 영역에서 성격기질에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 확인되었다. 셋째, SJ형 학생들은 마인드맵 등의 학습 전략, SP형 학생들은 장, 단기 학습목표를 꾸준히 실천하는 전략이 필요하다. NT형 학생들은 SRN(자기성찰노트)이나 수학일지를 활용한 학습 전략, NF형 학생들은 논리적 근거를 제시하는 수학학습 노트 쓰기 활동과 대수 학습에 더 많은 시간 투자가 필요하다.


The purpose of this study was to identify high school students’ mathematics learning style and its characteristics according to their personality disposition types and to propose mathematics learning strategies fit into each personality disposition type. For this purpose, MBTI personality test and survey to find mathematics learning style for 375 high school students were executed. The results were as follows. First, many students highly evaluated the effects of private education and prefer reference book to textbook. Second, there were significant differences on following variable domains of mathematics learning style such as learning attitude, learning habit(concentrativeness to concept understanding), problem solving strategies(effort for problem comprehension, use of various strategies), self management(metacognition) by MBTI personality disposition types(SJ, SP, NT, NF groups). Third, based on the results, the following mathematics learning strategies fit into each personality disposition type were recommended. SJ type students are needed to effort creative approach for open problem and to use mindmap as mathematics learning strategy. SP type students are needed to fulfill stepwise problem solving process and to effort constantly practice long/short term learning objectives. NT type students are needed to expand opportunity to study with friends and to use SRN(self reflection note) or mathematics journal writings as mathematics learning strategy. NF type students are needed to use mathematics learning note writing activity which include logical basis for each step of problem solving and to invest more time on learning algebra which need meticulous calculation.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of an interpersonal relationship improvement program using MBTI on self-acceptance, self-esteem and acceptance of others of professional soldiers. Methods: The participants were 36 professional soldiers in G City, including an experimental group (n=18) and a control group (n=18). The research was carried out from June to July, 2015. The intervention was provided to the experimental group once a week over 8 weeks, for 90 minutes per session. Date were analyzed using x2 test, t-test, Fisher's exact probability test, and ANCOVA with the SPSS/WIN 12.0 program. Results: Experimental group who took part in the interpersonal relationship improvement program using MBTI had higher self-acceptance score (F=26.39, p<.001), self-esteem score (F=16.61, p<.001), and acceptance of others score (F=0.47, p=.017) than the control group that did not participate. Conclusion: The results indicate that an interpersonal relationship improvement program using MBTI enhanced self-acceptance, self-esteem and acceptance of others of professional soldiers. Therefore, the interpersonal relationship improvement program using MBTI could be one of programs to improve self-acceptance, self-esteem and acceptance of others of professional soldiers.

본 연구는 MBTI의 성격유형분류에 기초하여 미래의 교회 리더들이 될 신학대학생들의 리더십 성격유형을 파악하여 보다 더 효과적인 리더십을 발휘할 수 있는 학문적 토대를 마련하기 위해 진행되었다. 또한 성격유형을 기초로 신학대학생들에게 적합한 학습방법을 발견하고자 시도하였다. 신학대학생들에게 주도적으로 드러나는 성격유형에 근거한 리더십 스타일이 무엇인지를 파악하고 그 결과에 따라 교회와 기독교기관에서 가장 적절한 리더십을 발휘할 수 있는 아이디어들을 제공하게 될 것이다. 연구에 참여한 신학대학생들의 주요 성격심리유형은 ESFP였다. 이 유형은 대인관계에 있어 외향적이고 부드럽고 열정적이고 다른 사람에게도 열정을 불어넣는다. 하지만, 유혹과 중독에 쉽게 빠지는 성향이므로 절제능력과 더불어 일 처리에 있어서 보다 더 체계적이고 계획적이고 논리적으로 대처할 필요가 있다. 연구의 결과 신학대학생들의 리더십 성격유형은 성별에 따른 차이를 보였다. 가장 두드러진 차이는 사고형(T)과 직관형(N)에서 나타났다. 성별의 차이의 강점을 적절하게 조화를 이룬 리더십 발휘가 필요하였다. 연구에 참여한 신학대학생들의 성격유형에 대한 또 하나의 조언은 바로 학자적 성향을 개발시키는 과제였다. ESFP의 전반적인 성향이 감정적이고 외향적이고 감각적이므로 반대성향인 사고하고 묵상하고 연구하는 자세의 개발이 요구된다. 연구결과에 기초하여 신학대학생들의 교육방법도 제시하였다. ESFP형에 맞는 교육방법인 참여중심의 토론, 실험, 그리고 거꾸로 학습 등을 제안하였다. ESFP의 주 성향인 SP형이 비교적 학습을 계획하고 전략적으로 접근하는 것에 약점을 보이기에 이에 대해 인식하고 스스로 보완해나가는 것이 필요함을 제안하였다.


This study was conducted to understand leadership styles of undergraduate college students in theology department of Kosin University by using a questionnaire of MBTI personality types. One hundred sixty questionnaires were distributed to students and one hundred forty six were gathered to use this study. Study results will help them making better leaders who better understand their own personality and others’ for the Church and Christian organizations. A personality type of most theology department students is ESFP, which characterizes them as tending to be extroverted, soft, and passionate. This personality type has its own strength in human relationships. people in this type tend to be vulnerable to temptation and various additions, so they must be cautious of these things and be self-controlled. According to the study results, men received higher scores in Thinking and Intuition than women. Since men and women have their own unique strengths in MBTI types, these two personality types could complement each other. Men get higher scores in Thinking and Intuition than women. Another advice for ESFP type students participating in this study is to develop more scholastic attitude, since people in this type tend to be more extroverted than introverted and more emotional than rational. Not only should pastors be equipped with people-like personality, but they should also be prepared for study and research. In selecting teaching methodologies for college students in theology department, professors and organizations planning college classroom study activities should take into consideration the ESFP personality type of most of these theology department students. The study results show that the ESFP type students like discussion, participation, activity, and so on. Additionally, since people in this personality type is weak at planning and organizing in their life, students have to develop skills of strategic planning in their life, study, and even work

10해양경찰공무원의 MBTI 성격유형 특성 분석

본 연구는 해양경찰 조직의 특성을 파악하기 위해 조직구성원의 MBTI 성격유형을 분석하였다. 연구대상은 해양경찰교육원을 졸업한 신임 해양경찰 933명과 직무과정을 이수한 기존 해양경찰 직원 583명이다. 분석결과, 신임 해양경찰에서 남성은 사고형(T, 56.1%), 여성은 감정형(F, 61,1%)이 더 많았다. 채용경로에 따라 비교하였을 때 공개경쟁채용에 비해 잠수 경력경쟁채용에서는 외향형(E, 67.4%)이 더 많고, 해기사 경력경쟁채용은 감각형(F, 79.8%)이 공개경쟁채용에서보다 많은 것으로 나타났다. 기존 해양경찰 직원은 50대가 감각(S, 90.0%)에서 30대 이하(S, 75.9%)보다 많았다. 또한, 50대는 감정형(F, 58.2%)이, 30대 이하는 사고형(T, 52.8%)이 많았다. 본 해양경찰 표본과 MBTI 표준화 표본을 비교해 볼 때, 감각(S) 선호지표에서 해양경찰(81.5%)이 표준화 표본(60.7%) 보다 유의미하게 많았다. 이러한 결과는 해양경찰 조직의 성격이 외향성, 사실성과 현실성, 관례와 전통을 중시하는 경향이 강하고, 쉽게 믿거나 변화하지 않으려는 유형적 특징이 있음을 나타낸다. 본 연구결과는 조직 구성원을 대상으로 교육설계, 인사관리, 갈등관리를 점검할 때 정책적으로 구성원의 성격유형을 고려할 필요가 있음을 제시하고 있다.


This study aimed to understand the organizational characteristics of the Korea Coast Guard by analyzing personality types of organization members. Participants of this study were 933 police recruits who graduated from Korea Coast Guard Academy and 583 police officers who completed their duty (professional) course. The results indicate that for the police recruits, males have more Thinking type(56.1%) while females have more Feeling type(61.1%). As for the recruitment routes, the dive special employees showed more Extraversion(67.4%) while the ship officers showed more Sensing(79.8%). Police officers in 50s showed more Sensing(90.0%) than those in 30s and under 30s(75.9%). Besides, those in 50s had more Feeling(58.2%) while those in 40s and 30s had more Thinking(52.8%). In respect to differences between the Korea Coast Guard samples and the standardized sample of MBTI, the former showed significantly higher than the latter(81.5% vs. 60.7%). These findings suggest that the organizational characteristics of The Korea Coast Guard relate more to extraverted, factual, and realistic tendencies, emphasizes custom and tradition, and have stability and consistency. These findings suggests that it is needed to take into consideration personality types of organizational members in designing members’ education and managing personnel and conflicts within organization.
