본고는 종교학·철학 분야에서 주목받지 않았던 이의봉 『고금석림(古今釋林)』 권18 「도가어록」을 연구하여, 조선 후기 도가·도교 관련 유서로서의 의의를 정립하였다. 또한 ｢도가어록｣의 표제어 647개 및 그 인용 문헌 733회를 정리하였다. 그 결과 주요 인용 경향을 간략히 살펴본 결과 중국본 도교 문헌이 거의 80%에 육박할 정도로 인용되고 있음이 확인되었다. 『상촌선생집(象村先生集)』도 83회(11.32%), 『지봉유설(芝峯類說)』은 8회(1.09%) 인용되고 있었다. 더 나아가 본고는 이의봉이 접할 수 있는 ‘지적인 루트’로서 중국본 유서나 총서에 주목하였다. 상당수의 중국의 도교 문헌들이 『고금석림』「도가어록」에 인용되었는데, 실제로 각종 도교 문헌을 직접 참고했다기보다는 『설부(說郛)』나 『설부속(說郛續)』, 『미공비급(眉公秘笈)』 등 중국본 총서(叢書) 들을 통해 그가 도교 문헌을 ‘재인용’하는 방식을 채택한 것으로 본고는 추정한다. 대표적으로 「도가어록」의 인용문헌 수십 종을 『미공비급』에서 발견할 수 있었다. 내용적으로 접근하더라도 이러한 중국본 총서의 활용 경향이 드러난다. 본고의 부록인 인용 빈도수 조사 결과 및 인덱스(가나다순)를 바탕으로, 향후 「도가어록」에 대한 논구가 활발히 진행되기를 기대한다.

This study examines the “Daoist Lexicon”(道家語錄) from Volume 18 of Yi Uibong’s Gogeum seoknim(古今釋林), a section that has received little scholarly attention in the fields of religious studies and philosophy. The paper seeks to clarify its significance as an encyclopedic lexicon of Daoist and Daoism-related terms in late Joseon Korea. A systematic survey identifies 647 headwords and 733 textual citations within the work. The analysis reveals that nearly 80 percent of these citations derive from Chinese Daoist sources. Among Korean references, Sangchon seonsaeng jip(象村先生集) is cited 83 times(11.32 percent) and Jibong yuseol(芝峯類說) 8 times(1.09 percent). Furthermore, the study highlights Yi Uibong’s reliance on Chinese encyclopedic collections as intellectual conduits for accessing Daoist materials. Rather than consulting individual Daoist scriptures directly, Yi appears to have employed indirect citation through Chinese anthologies such as Shuofu(說郛), Shuofuxu(說郛續) and Meigong miji(眉公秘笈). Indeed, many Daoist works cited in the “Daoist Lexicon” can be traced within Meigong miji. This pattern indicates a consistent method of mediated citation through Chinese compendia. Based on the appended index and citation-frequency table, this study anticipates further research on the “Daoist Lexicon” and its intellectual context within late Joseon scholarship.
