연구목적: 본 연구는 직업예술인으로서 연극·뮤지컬 분야의 발달장애인 배우에게 요청되는 직무요건과 직무역량을 파악함을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 발달장애인 배우가 활동하고 있는 연극·뮤지컬 단체의 감독, 단장 등 운영관계자 16명을 대상으로 한 설문조사와 발달장애인 배우 23명을 공연연습하거나 공연하는 현장에 관찰을 진행하였다. 연구결과: 설문조사 결과, 직업예술인으로서 연극·뮤지컬 분야 발달장애인 배우에게 요청되는 기본 자격요건으로 성별, 나이, 교육수준은 큰 고려사항이 아니었고 직무역량 중 지식 역량과 기술 역량은 대부분의 항목에서 5.00점 기준 3.50점 이상, 태도 역량은 4.00점 이상으로 높은 수준의 역량을 요구하고 있었다. 관찰 결과, 발달장애인 배우들은 무대에 대한 이해도가 높았으며 공연에 임하는 태도도 매우 진지하고 성실하였다. 많은 대사를 소화하거나 다양한 동작을 보여주는데도 전혀 무리가 없어보였다. 결론 및 제언: 발달장애인 배우가 공연 대한 열정과 태도가 갖추어져있으면, 반복적인 연습을 통해서 연극ᐧ뮤지컬 활동에 참여할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 연극ᐧ뮤지컬 분야 발달장애인 고용확대와 공연을 위한 공간대여 등 체계적인 지원과 관심이 필요하다.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify necessary job competencies requested by actors with People with Developmental Disabilities(PDD) in theater and musical fields as professional artist. Method: A survey of 16 operating officials, including directors and heads of theatrical and musical organizations in which actors with PDD are active, and observations of 23 actors with PDD were conducted at the site of performance practice or performance. Results: According to the survey, gender, age and educational level were not major considerations as qualifications for actors with PDD in the theater and musical fields, and knowledge and technical skills where required to be 3.50 out of 5.00 or more and attitude skills 4.00 or more than 4.00 out of 5.00. As a result of observation, the actors with PDD had a high understanding of the stage and their attitude toward the performance was very serious and sincere. There seemed to be no problem at all in saying many words or showing various movements. Conclusion: It was confirmed that actors with PDD can participate in theater and musical activities through repeated practice if they have passion and attitude toward performance. Therefore, systematic support and interest are needed, such as expanding the employment of PDD in the field of theater and musicals and renting space for performances.
