본 논문은 영화에 표현된 노년 여성 캐릭터의 성(性)적 주체성 변화를 살피는데목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2015년 이후 영화 3편을 선정했고, 시몬 드 보부아르(Simone de Beauvoir)의 제2의 성 과 주디스 버틀러(Judith Butler)의 젠더 정체성 이론 안에 담긴 ‘수행성 이론’의 개념을 고찰 기준으로 두었다. 대상이 된 영화 속 노년 여성 캐릭터는 각각 <장수상회>의 금님, <죽여주는 여자>의 소영, <69세>의 효정으로서 이들은 각각 남성중심 가부장 사회에서의 수행성을 토대로 ‘타자’로만 존재하는 무성(無性)적 여성, 성(性)은 존재하되 주체로서의 욕망은 거세된 성적 타자 혹은 ‘제 2의 성’적 존재로만 그려지는 여성 그리고 ‘재생산과 성적 매력’을 기준으로 여성의 성(性)을 평가하는 사회 속에서 타자의 타자위치에 놓였지만, 성(性)의 주체임을 인식하고 그 권리를 포기하지 않는 여성의 모습으로 변화를 분석했다. 관습적 인식 안에 노년 여성은 타자의 타자에 위치하는 대상이다. 미디어 속 묘사가 사회의 모습을 답습하기도 하지만, 거꾸로 사회가 미디어 속묘사를 통해 학습효과를 갖는다는 점에서, 삶의 주체자이며, 성(性)의 주체자로서의 노년 여성 캐릭터의 변화는 의미를 갖는 것으로 판단된다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the gender-subjectivity changes of older female characters expressed in the film. To this end, three films have been selected since 2015, and the concepts of Simone de Beauvouari’s “Second Castle”, Judith Butler’s “Gender Theory” and “Performance” are the criteria for consideration. he old female characters in the movie were Geum-nim from “Long Live,” So-young from “Killing Woman,” and Hyo-jung from “69 years old,” respectively. One of them is based on their performance in a male-dominated patriarchal society. the other is a woman whose sexuality exists, whose desire as a subject is castrated, who is portrayed only as a sexual typist or a “second gender.” and In a society that evaluates women’s sex based on “reproduction and sexual attraction,” he was placed in the batter’s position. but It is analyzed that women recognize that they are the main agents of sex and do not give up their rights. Older women in conventional perception are targets that are located in the batter’s box. The depiction in the media follows the image of society. On the other hand, the change in old female characters as subjects of life and sex is considered meaningful in that society also has a learning effect through portrayals in the media.
