Effects of daily feeding frequency on the growth of rumen ciliates were investigated in the different diet condition. In all the diet condition, increasing the frequency of feedings up to eight times per day at 3-h intervals caused an increase in the total ciliate number and Entodinium numbers per ㎖ of rumen fluid. However, in the Diplodinium and Holotrichs, effect of daily feeding frequency was varied with the condition of diet.
