Growing period from seeding to heading and dry matter production data are presented for forage sorghum-sudangrass hybrid 6 leading cultivars grown in a two-year trial at 5 different regions of south Korea. Dry matter production ranged from 14.5 to 26.6t/ha in response to region and was more produced in southern than northern Korea. Region was strongly reflected in dry matter production. There was a wide range in leaf component to total dry matter; the highest was headless variety JUMBO (40.9% by first growth, 44.8% by 2nd growth), the lowest G83F(25.3% and 31.3%). Growing period was shortened in southern Korea but shortening was depended on variety.
