In order to investigate effects of feeding enzymes, probiotics and yucca powder on the pig growth and odor-generating substances in feces, a feeding trial was conducted with a total of 48 growing pigs of an average 34㎏ body weight. The supplementary levels of enzymes, probiotics, and yucca powder were 0.2, 2.0, and 0.02%, respectively, and they were fed for 41 days. Fecal VFA and ammonia-N were analyzed as indicators for odor-generating substances. Body weight gain and F/G were significantly improved for pigs fed enzymes, probiotics and yucca powder (P$lt; 0.05) when compared to the control, but there were no differences among treatments. Ammonia-N concentration in feces was significantly reduced by feeding enzymes, probiotics and yucca powder (P$lt;0.01) shortly after sampling and throughout the incubation of feces at 25℃. VFA concentration was significantly reduced by feeding yucca powder shortly after sampling (P$lt;0.05), but no differences were found among treatments.
