The objective of this study was to develop the drug treatment combination for piglets that suffer from diarrhea caused by various reasons. Ninety eight percent of diarrheal piglets were cured by the drug combination A in three days, while approximately seventy seven percent of diarrhea piglets were cured by the drug combination B in three days. Consequently the treatment A is more effective than the treatment B in curing diarrhea. Approximately ninety five percent of piglets under 6㎏ BW were cured by administration of the drug combination three times a day. Approximately eighty seven percent of piglets over 6㎏ BW were cured. In conclusion, this drug combination is more effective on the unweaned piglets under 6㎏ BW than those over 6㎏ BW. Antimicrobial sensitivity testing showed that the strains of bacteria causing diarrhea in piglets, specifiallt E. coli were most sensitive to amikacin(95.3%), colstin(89.1%) and sullamethoxazole-trimethoprim(84.4%) among the 14 kinds of antibiotics agents examined.
