Pseudo acacia lespedeza spp., quercus spp. and pueraria tunbergiana of wild shrub in the mountainous area added with concentrate(50:50, W/W), and treated with 6% ammonia water. Woods silage were fed to growing ram. The results of this study are summarised as follows ; 1. In rumen propionic acid, control, pseudo acacia, lespedeza spp., quercus spp. and pueraria tunbergina were 8.79, 11.96, 12.12, 11.49 and 12.59 μ㏖ respectively. Ammoniated wood silage was significantly increased more than control wood silage(p $lt;.05). 2. In rumen total VFA, control, pseudo acacia, lespedeza spp. quercus spp. and pueraria tunbergina were 61.44, 73.60, 72.06, 70.00 and 73.24 μ㏖ respectively. Ammoniated wood silage was significantly increased more than control(p $lt;.05). 3. Control of blood pH(6.75) was not significantly increased more than ammoniated wood silage(6.69-6.78). 4. Quercus spp. of plasma propionic acid(1.92 μ㏖) was significantly decreased and pueraria tunbergina significantly increased(p $lt;.05). 5. In plasma totoal VFA, control, pseudo acacia, lespedeza spp., quercus spp. and pueraria tunbergina were 10.57, 12.51, 10.98, 8.99 and 13.37 μ㏖ respectively. Plasma total VFA of quercus spp. was significantly decreased and pueraria tunbergina significantly increased(p $lt;.05). 6. Urea content of plasma, control, pseudo acacia, lespedeza spp., quercus spp. and pueraria tunbergina were 45.55, 56.40, 55.13, 52.62 and 59.98mg respectively. Plasma urea of control was significantly decreased and ammoniated wood silage significantly increased(p $lt;.0l).
