This study was carried out to investigate the distribution of swine carcass weight and the changes in carcass price by the weight, using the weight and price data for 22,882 swine carcasses marketed on every 1st and 15th day of the month during 1980 and 1981 in Seoul wholesale market. Most of marketing number and carcass price of swine were the highest at 53.2 ㎏ of carcass weight, but tend to decrease according to increase or decrease than that weight.
