The effects of a few enzymes and. aromatics on the percentage of motile bovine spermatozoa and storage were investigated. Yolk citrate buffers with amylase, diamalt, apple aromatic, white wine aromatic and grape aromatic were prepared in graded concentration of 0.0% to 1.0%, so that 11 test groups were made respectively including control group. Each diluted solution was kept at 5℃ and follow ing results were observed. 1. Control: The control was better than the other treatments on basis of the percentage of motile sperm and storage. 2. Treatments: 1) The percentages of motile sperm and storage in the treatments were observed to be inversely proportional to the concentration of the diluted solutions. 2) The 0.1% white wine aromatic solution appeared to be the best among the treatments in terms of percentage of motile sperm and storage. Diamalt and amylase groups showed poor results and these were considered to be due to the toxic effects of the enzyme on the sperm cell. 3) Among the aromatic groups the percentage of motile sperm and storage were in the order of apple aromatic, white wine aromatic and grape aromatic. They were not considered to be significant.
