To determine the effect of the level of fertilizer application on the yield, digestibility, chemical composition, content of DCP and TDN of Bromus spp through September 1, 1969 to September 10, 1970, this experiment was carried out. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The yield of Bromus spp was significantly (p$lt;0.01) higher in the fertilizing plot than in the non-fertilizing plot. However, the amount of yield per plot gradually decreased as the cutting stage progressed. 2. The digestibility of dry matter and crude protein of Bromus spp did not affected by the level of fertilizer application. However, digestibility of crude fiber was slightly (p$lt;0.05) improved by the level of fertilizer application increased. 3. DCP content and digestible crude fiber of Bromus spp was significantly (p$lt;0.05) increased as the level of fertilizer application increased. However, content of TDN, digestible crude fat and digestible NFE of Bromus spp were not affected by the level of fertilizer application. 4. The yield of DCP and TDN of Bromus spp per 10 a were greatly (p$lt;0.01) improved by the fertilizer application. 5. In the chemical composition, no consistent difference was found although crude protim content tended to higher for the fertilized plot than for the non-fertilized plot.
