This experiment was carried out to make up the effective culture of fermentation of rice hull meal with following additive materials such as wheat bran, barley meal, rice bran, dried sweet potato meal, dried starch wastes to support the easy sprouting and growing of molds. The formulations of culture in this experiments were 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100% of rice hull with 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% and 0% of the above additive materials, respectively. Every 50 grams of above different mixtures were pasteurized in autoclaves, and cooled, then incubated with Koji Mold-Rijopus RB-14 for 2 days and the following results have been obtained. 1. It has been found that the excellent formulation of mixtures were 60% of rice hull meal and 40% of barley meal, and 60% of rice hull meal and 40% of starch waste, and 80% of rice hull meal and 20 of dried starch waste, not only in the sprout and the growth of Koji mold but also in the analytical value of composition. 2. And available formulation of mixtures were 70% of rice hull meal and 30% of dried sweet potato meal, 30% of dried starch wastes, 30% of wheat bran and 30% of rice bran. 3. Koji mold fermented materials manufactured from 60% of rice hull meal with 40% barley meal, and with 40% of dried starch wastes, and 80% of rice hull meal with 20% of dried starch waste contained 6.29%, 6.76%, and 6.37% of crude protein in regard to that of 3.83% in raw rice hull meat. 4. From the above results it might be necessary to keep the race of formulation precribed in the above.
