This experiment was conducted to determine the effect quality in silage making as added sodium bisulfite and sodium salicylate. Discussion of experimental results are as follows. (1) At the first stage of silage fermentation genetic substance of gas seems to more control the aerobic fermentation and to more prevent the rising temperature than preservation. (2) Added of 0.2 percent salicylate silage has no a trouble at lactic acid fermentation but added of 0.4 percent bisulfite had an injurious. (3) bisulfite lot was a little nutritional lose on composition of silage than salicylate lot. (4) The taste of animal for silage was in good odour of salicylate, control lot, and added bisulfite was the lowest but it seems to by odour of ammonia gas, and has no connection with strength and weakness of acid odour and taste of animal. (5) Added bisulfite seems to no produce effect in making ensilage which utilize similar materials of the legume and grasses at the seal tightly silo in the same way vinyl silo. (6) Added bisulfite lot was the greenest and maintain the caroten in quality of an outside view but salicylate lot superior on the softening, and the odour of materials by the fermentation. (7) In synthetic result, added salicylate lot was good quality, and next was in order bisulfite control lot but it is a little as yet practical on value of an addition in our country.
