1. This experiment was carried oft in order to study the effects of copper sulphate and antibiotic for growing fattening swine as the growth stimulants, end to determine the levels of copper sulphate supplement, and to point out to effects on the parasites control and blood for growing fattening swine. The experiment was conducted for 140 days in 1960 at the Swine Division, Livestock Experiment Station in Sunk Hwan. 2. Seventy-two pigs were divided into 6 groups having 12 heads per group and the treatments are as follows, (1) 100 ppm copper sulphate, (2) 300 ppm copper sulphate. (3) 500 ppm copper sulphate, (4) 0.2% antibiotic(Aurofac 2A), (5) 0.2% antibiotic+100ppm copper sulphate and (6) basal diet. The complete randomized block design was applied for the statistical analysis of this trial. 3. Average gains daring experiment was in following order; (1) 300 ppm lot; 66.7㎏, (2) 500 ppm lot: 61.3㎏, (3) antibiotic+100 ppm lot; 61.1㎏, (4) antibiotic 0.2% lot; 60.7㎏, (5) 100 ppm lot; 54.9㎏ and (6) control lot; 45.5㎏. The 300 ppm CuSo₄ lot gained more 21.2㎏ than controls and more 6㎏ than antibiotics. 4. According to the statistical analysis of final body weight, there were 1% high significance between 300 ppm CuSo₄, 500 ppm antibiotic and antibiotic CuSo₄ and control. And five pear cent significance between 300 ppm lot and 100 ppm lot. Above results demonstrated that CuSo₄ may be used as growth stimulant for growing fattening swine. 5. Average daily feed consumption per head of each lot was in following order: (1) 300 ppm CuSo₄ lot; 1.799㎏, (2) 500 ppm CuSo₄ lot; 1.785㎏, (3) antibiotic+CuSo₄; 1.76㎏, (4) antibiotic lot; 1.666㎏, (5) 100 ppm lot; 1.604㎏ and (6) control lot; 1.312㎏. 6. Average daily gains throughout whole experimental periods was as follows: 300 ppm lot; 0.476㎏, 500 ppm lot; 0.438㎏, antibiotic+CuSo₄; 0.437㎏, antibiotic lot 0.434㎏, 100 ppm lot; 0.392㎏ and control; 0.325㎏. Feed consumption per 1㎏ vain was as follows: (1) 300 ppm lot; 3.79㎏, (2) antibiotic lot; 3.84㎏, (3) antibiotic+CuSo₄ lot; 4.04㎏, (4) 500 ppm lot; 4.07㎏, (5) 100 ppm lot; 4.04㎏, and (6) control lot; 4.13㎏. Also 300 ppm lot was best one: Increased feed consumption and efficiency in antibiotic and CuSo₄ supplemented lots teas noticed as compared with basal ration lot. 7. No effect of copper on parasites control and number of blood corpuscle of pig was noticed in this experiment. However this feat may bs expected to be restudied by the subsequent experiment
