1. The experiment had been conducted from Nov. 24, 1959 to Dec. 15. 1959 (22 days). 36 White Leghorn hens were divided into 4 groups: hens inseminated by undiluted, double diluted, thrice diluted, and fivefold diluted semen. The Ringer`s solution was used as a diluent. 2. There were no significant differences between the fertility of diluted groups and that of undiluted group after the third insemination. 3. We had found two difficulties during this experiment. a. The number of laid eggs were too few to get the definite result. b. Collecting the semen was not easy(the fourth insemination was impossible). Therefore this experiment should be repeated to have a confident conclusion.
