This paper is about content-based language teaching (CBLT) which is one of the innovative methods these days. CBLT integrates the learning of some specific subject-matter content with the learning of a second language. CBLT is very effective because it encourages natural acquisition of a second language. Mohan`s (1986) theory of language and content underlies the theoretical background. Mohan says that language is normally a medium of learning about the world. There are three types of CBLT: 1) theme-based model, 2) sheltered model and 3) adjunct model. Actually, CBLT is appropriate for advanced level students. However, modified CBLT can be applicable to the Korean students. Through the short experiments, the researcher found out that interesting content can make students confident of English.
