The questionnaire papers on the anxiety was composed of family anxiety, study anxiety, school anxiety and self anxiety. The subjects of investgation were classfied into students as a whole, male or female, and their mothers` having employment or not having employment students. ` t--test` was administered to find statistics on the differences in relation to the children`s attitude about mothers` employment. The result of this study first was the children who accepted their mothers` employment showed less degrees of anxiety while those who did not accept their mothers` employment showed much higher degrees in all the areas of anxiety. However if we look at male children compared to female, the male children who accepted their mothers` employment showed lesser degrees of anxiety than those who did not accept their mothers` employment, but the female children`s acceptance and non-acceptance attitudes about mothers` employment did not show any marked degree of differences in anxieties. Secondly, Also , in the case of children whose mothers have employment the result appears the same. Such as all the anxiety of children who accepted mothers` employment appeared less than degrees of those who did not accept mothers` employment. Thirdly, the children`s acceptance/non-acceptance attitudes about mothers` employment has also influenced the children`s anxiety in the same way in the case of children whose mothers do not have employment. Especially the children who accepted mothers` employment appeared affected in lesser degrees than those who did not accept in the low areas of anxiety, such as in family anxiety, study anxiety and school anxiety, but did not show any marked degree of difference in social anxiety or self anxiety.
