본 연구는 한·중 15분 도시의 연구동향을 비교 분석하고 연구의 차이점과 향후 연구방향을 전망하고 제안하기 위해, 한국과 중국의 논문 데이터에 대한 텍스트 마이닝과 텍스트 네트워크 분석 방법을 활용하여 빈도분석, 중심성 분석, CONCOR 분석을 진행하였다. 분석 결과, 한국과 중국의 연구는 모두 생활권과 근접성을 핵심 키워드로 연구를 진행하고 있지만, 연구의 방향성에는 차이가 확인되었다. 한국의 연구는 기존 도시계획체계와의 연장선에서 15분 도시의 이론적 의미와 제도적 적용 가능성을 탐색하는 경향이 있고 중국의 연구는 정책 실행과 성과관리를 지원하는 실천적 연구를 위주로 연구들이 진행되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 한국에서는 학술적 연구와 정책을 연계한 논문이 소수 진행되었고, 중국에서는 정책과 실천적 주제가 연결된 연구들이 다수 확인되었다. 이는 국가간 공간구조 및 도시계획체계, 학술 연구 환경 등에서 존재하는 차이로 연구의 주요 관심 영역과 방향이 상이하게 진행되는 경향도 반영된 것으로 판단된다. 향후 15분 도시 연구는 데이터 기반 중심의 실증 분석을 추진하고 지역 특성을 고려한 15분 도시 전략을 수립하며 주민 참여와 거버넌스 제도화 관련 연구 및 포용적 15분 도시 등에 대한 다양한 연구로 확대될 필요가 있다.

This study compares research trends on the 15-minute city in Korea and China, focusing on differences in research orientation and their implications. Text mining and text network analysis methods, including frequency, centrality, and CONCOR analysis, were applied to examine the structural composition of research themes in both countries. In both contexts, “neighborhood” and “proximity” emerge as central reference points. However, the directions of inquiry diverge. In Korea, research largely unfolds within established urban planning frameworks, emphasizing theoretical interpretation and institutional feasibility. Chinese scholarship, by contrast, engages more directly with policy implementation and performance evaluation. The difference is also reflected in the relationship between research and planning practice. Korean studies tend to maintain analytical distance from immediate policy application, whereas Chinese research develops in closer alignment with specific policy initiatives. These differences appear to reflect variations in national spatial structures, urban planning systems, and academic research environments. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening data-driven empirical research and developing locally grounded strategies. They also underscore the need to broaden participation among residents and socially vulnerable groups in shaping the 15-minute city.
