본 연구는 현대미술작품 중 창의성이 뛰어나고 대중적으로 성공한 사례의 표현 전략을 찾고자 한 연구이다. 또 한 이렇게 찾아진 표현 전략을 체계화하여 가이드라인으로 구축한 후, 본 연구자의 화예 작품 창작에 적용하여 창의성과 대중성을 겸비한 표현을 실현하는 것을 목표로 한다. 방법적으로는 현대미술 작가의 작품사진을 행동장면분석이라는 질적연구방법을 통해 분석하고, 각 작품에 나타난 창의적 연출 방식과 대중성을 유발하는 요소를 추출하였다. 그 후 추출된 기술문을 바탕으로 KJ법을 활용하여 체계화하였다. 그 결과 상징 오브제 그룹(A), 공간 구성 그룹(B), 감각 자극 그룹(C)으로 분류되었고, 총 8개의 상위 개념, 16개의 중위 개념, 52개의 하위 개념, 338개의 2차기술문으로 구성된 개념적 체계로 정리되었다. 이러한 체계는 창의적 연출 전략과 대중성을 유발하는 요소를 통합한 것으로, 창작 실천에 유용한 방법적 가이드가 될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 본인의 작품을 창작함에 있어 본 연구 결과인 가이드라인을 적용하여 그 적용 가능성과 효과성을 시험하였고, 그 결과 창작된 5점의 작품 결과물을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 도출된 가이드라인은 창조적 조형과 대중성 확보를 위한 요소의 작품 적용을 유도하는 실질적 참고 자료로서, 본 연구는 화예작가들로 하여금 작품을 창작하는 데 있어 직관적 접근을 보완하는 방법적 접근으로 활용 가능할 것이다. 즉 본 연구는 행동장면분석과 KJ법이라는 질적연구방법을 도입하여 창조적 조형 연출과 작품의 대중적 관심을 유발하는 방법적 가이드의 체계적 도출을 시도한 연구라는 점에서 그 학술적 의의가 있다.

This study aims to find expression strategies for cases of excellent creativity and popular success among contemporary artworks. In addition, it aims to systematize the expression strategy found in this way and build it as a guidelines, and apply it to the creation of the researcher's art work to realize expressions that combine creativity and popularity. Methodically, the photographs of contemporary artists' works were analyzed through a qualitative research method called behavior setting analysis, and the creative directing method and factors that caused popularity in each work were extracted. After that, the extracted description text was systematized using the KJ method. As a result, it was classified into symbolic object group (A), spatial composition group (B), and sensory stimulation group (C), and organized into a conceptual system consisting of a total of 8 higher concepts, 16 middle concepts, 52 lower concepts, and 338 secondary description text. This system integrates creative directing strategies and popularity inducing elements and can be a useful method guide for creative practice. Accordingly, in this study, the applicability and effectiveness of this study were tested by applying the guidelines, which are the results of this study, and the results of the 5 works created were presented. The guidelines derived through this study are practical reference materials that induce the application of elements for creative formation and popularity, and this study can be used as a method to complement the intuitive approach for floral artists to create works. In other words, this study is of academic significance in that it attempts to systematically derive a methodical guide that induces public interest in creative formative production and works by introducing a qualitative research method called behavior setting analysis and KJ method.
