본 연구는 텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용하여 최근 10년간의 국내 놀이치료 연구 동향과 구조적 특성을 종합적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2016년부터 2025년 9월까지 한국학술지인용색인(KCI)에 등재된 놀이치료 관련 국내 학술논문 306편의 국문 제목과 초록을 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 수집된 자료는 Python 기반 Komoran 형태소 분석기를 활용하여 데이터 전처리를 실시하였으며, Textom을 이용해 TF, TF-IDF, N-gram 분석, 키워드 네트워크 중심성 분석, 루베인 클러스터링 알고리즘 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, ‘아동’과 ‘놀이치료자’가 연구 전반을 관통하는 핵심키워드로 도출되었고, 놀이치료자 관련 변인이 연구 네트워크에서 중심적인 역할을 수행하는 것으로 확인되었다. 놀이치료 연구는 ‘정서·행동·사회성 문제’, ‘놀이치료자 역량 강화 및 성장’, ‘모래놀이치료 과정 내 변화와 성장’, ‘부모-자녀 관계’, ‘연구 방법론 및 프로그램 개발’의 다섯개 커뮤니티로 구조화되었다. 이러한 결과는 국내 놀이치료 연구가 다층적 구조 속에서 확장·분화되어 왔음을 시사하며, 향후 놀이치료자 요인을 치료 과정 변인과의 관계 속에서 구조적으로 탐색할 필요성을 제기한다. 본 연구는 놀이치료 연구 동향을 주제 간 관계와 네트워크 구조적 맥락 속에서 통합적으로 조망하였다는 점에서 학문적 의의를 가진다.
This study aimed to comprehensively examine research trends and structural characteristics in domestic play therapy research over the past decade using text mining techniques. For this purpose, a total of 306 domestic journal articles related to play therapy, indexed in the Korean Citation Index (KCI) and published between 2016 and September 2025, were selected, and their Korean titles and abstracts were analyzed. The collected data were preprocessed using the Komoran morphological analyzer based on Python, and TF, TF-IDF, N-gram analysis, keyword network centrality analysis, and the Louvain clustering algorithm were conducted using Textom. The results revealed that “children” and “play therapists” functioned as core keywords across the research corpus, and that play therapist-related variables played a central role within the research network. Furthermore, play therapy research was structured into five major communities: Emotional, Behavioral, and Social Problems; Professional Competency Development and Growth of Play Therapists; Change and Growth within the Sandplay Therapy Process; Parent-Child Relationship; Research Methodology and Program Development. These findings indicate that domestic play therapy research has expanded and differentiated within a multilayered structure. In particular, the results suggest the need for future studies to structurally examine play therapist related factors in relation to therapeutic process variables. This study makes a meaningful contribution by providing an integrated overview of play therapy research trends within a relational and network-based structural framework.
