최근 10년간 중국 애니메이션 산업의 급속한 성장은 산업 규모의 확대와 함께 중국 애니메이션사 다큐멘터리를 위한 풍부한 문화기억 자원을 제공하였다. 이러한 배경 속에서, 중국 애니메이션의 역사를 어떻게 기록하고 현대적 맥락에서 어떻게 재서사할 것인가가 중요한 연구 과제로 제기되었다. 본 연구는 10년의 간극을 두고 제작된 다큐멘터리 <꿈의 집>(2013)과 <애니메이션 100>(2024)을 연구 대상으로 하여, 문화기억 이론과 비교 텍스트 분석 방법을 통해 서사 구조의 진화 메커니즘을 탐구하였다. 연구는 서사 객체(Object), 서사 장(Field), 서사 전략(Strategy)으로 구성된 OFS 서사 모델을 제안하며, 다큐멘터리가 ‘역사 기록형 서사’에서 ‘문화 신화화 서사’로 전환되는 문화 동력 구조를 설명한다. 연구 결과, 두 작품은 서사 주체 구성, 매체 생태, 그리고 서사 전략 측면에서 현저한 차이를 보이며, 단일 중심에서 다중 주체 협력 구조로, 단일 방송 플랫폼에서 융합 미디어 환경으로, 선형 회고 서사에서 몰입형·시공간 교차 서사로의 체계적 변화를 확인하였다. 본 연구는 중국 애니메이션 문화기억의 재생산 메커니즘을 이해하는 데 기여하며, 향후 애니메이션사 다큐멘터리 연구와 실천에 적용 가능한 구조적 방법론적 틀을 제시한다.

In the past decade, the rapid expansion of China’s animation industry has enhanced production capacity and enriched cultural memory resources for related documentaries. Consequently, how to document the history of Chinese animation and reconstruct its narrative today has become a key research issue. This study compares two documentaries produced ten years apart―Dream Home (2013) and Animation 100 (2024)―through cultural memory theory and comparative textual analysis to examine changes in narrative structures. It proposes the OFS Narrative Model―Object, Field, and Strategy―to illustrate the cultural dynamics driving a shift from historical record-based to cultural myth-making narratives. Findings reveal major transitions in narrative subjects, media ecology, and storytelling strategies, including a move from single-center to multi-subject narration, from broadcast-centered to convergent media platforms, and from linear retrospectives to immersive, cross-temporal forms. This study clarifies the reproduction mechanism of cultural memory and provides a structured framework relevant to both theory and documentary practice.
