본 연구는 도서지역의 고유한 경관색채를 활용하여 컬러테라피 개념을 접목한 치유 관광 활성화 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 최근 치유 관광에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라, 자연적 색채자원을 풍부하게 보유한 도서지역은 심리적 안정과 정서적 회복을 촉진할 수 있는 잠재적 관광지로 주목받고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 전라남도 신안군을 중심으로 경관색채의 특성과 지역적 상징성을 분석하고, 색채가 지니는 심리·생리적 효과에 관한 문헌연구를 토대로 컬러테라 피적 접근을 시도하였다. 연구 결과, 신안군은 보라색(퍼플섬)을 중심으로 푸른 해양, 녹색 염전, 분홍빛 꽃밭 등 다채로운 색채 경관을 형성하고 있으며, 이러한 색채는 명상·안정·활력 등 다양한 치유 효과와 연계될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이를 기반으로 본 연구는 색채를 활용한 체험형 관광 프로그램 개발, 지역 자원과 연계한 컬러테라피 콘텐츠 확충, 경관색채 관리체계구축을 통한 지속가능한 관광정책 방향을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 도서지역 경관색채의 심리적·문화적 가치를 재조명함으로써, 색채 기반의 치유관광이라는 새로운 지역발전 전략을 제시한다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

This study aims to explore strategies for revitalizing healing tourism by integrating color therapy concepts with the unique landscape colors of island regions. As interest in wellness and healing tourism grows, island areas rich in natural color resources have gained attention as potential destinations for psychological stability and emotional recovery. Focusing on Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, this research analyzes the characteristics and symbolism of regional landscape colors and reviews previous studies on the psychological and physiological effects of colors from a color therapy perspective. The findings indicate that Shinan’s diverse landscape colors―such as purple (Purple Island), blue sea, green salt fields, and pink flower gardens―can be associated with various healing effects including meditation, relaxation, and vitality. Based on this analysis, the study proposes: (1) the development of color-based experiential tourism programs, (2) the expansion of color therapy-related local contents, and (3) the establishment of a landscape color management system for sustainable tourism policy. This study contributes to reinterpreting the psychological and cultural value of island landscape colors and suggests a new regional development strategy based on color-oriented healing tourism.
