이 글은 ‘플랫폼 문예 장치’라는 개념을 통해 웹서사 플랫폼이 작가·작품·독자를 구성하는 문예적 작동 방식을 분석한다. 우선 푸코, 들뢰즈, 아감벤의 장치론을 참조하여 문예 장치의 개념적 가능성을 검토하고, 플랫폼 자본주의와 플랫폼화의 논의를 통해 현대의 플랫폼이 문예 장치로 기능하는 양상을 규명하였다. 나아가 네이버의 웹툰·웹소설 플랫폼을 사례로 플랫폼 문예 장치의 구체적 구성 방식을 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 플랫폼이 독자 성향에 따라 웹툰과 웹소설을 계열화하며 두 서사 장르의 연계를 강화하는 양상을 분석하였다. 또한 플랫폼 내부의 작품 게시판 구조에 대한 분석을 통해, 작품 게시판에서 이루어지는 작가와 독자 간 상호작용 양상이 서사의 생성과 변화를 유도하면서 웹툰·웹소설의 문예 담론 형성에 기여함을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 웹서사의 문예 담론 역시 작품에 대한 비평적·규범적 인식을 생성하면서, 작가·작품·독자의 형성에 관여하는 것이기도 하다.

This paper analyzes the literary mechanism through which web narrative platforms construct authors, works, and readers by introducing the concept of the “Platform as a Literature Dispositif.” Drawing on the theories of Foucault, Deleuze, and Agamben, it first examines the conceptual possibilities of the literary dispositif and, through discussions of platform capitalism and platformization, identifies how contemporary platforms function as literary dispositifs. Using Naver’s webtoon and web novel platforms as a case study, the paper explores the specific structures that constitute the Platform as a Literature Dispositif. Through this analysis, it reveals how the platform aligns webtoons and web novels according to readers’ preferences and thereby reinforces the connection between the two narrative genres. Furthermore, an examination of the internal bulletin board structure shows that interactions between authors and readers within these boards stimulate the creation and transformation of narratives, contributing to the formation of literary discourse in webtoons and web novels. In addition, such web narrative discourse generates critical and normative perceptions of works, thereby participating in the shaping of authors, works, and readers alike.
