This study aimed to investigate the effects of an 8-week functional complex training program on strength, power, and agility in college basketball players. Twelve male college basketball players were randomly assigned to either a control group A or a group B (functional complex training). The experimental group performed functional complex training three times per week for eight weeks, while the control group maintained regular training. Measurements were taken pre- and post-test for strength (one-repetition maximum [1RM] bench press and squat), power (standing broad jump), and agility (t-test), and analyzed using two-way ANOVA and t-tests in SPSS 26.0. Significant improvements were observed only in the experimental group for bench press and squat 1RM, standing broad jump, and T-test performance (p<.05), whereas the control group showed no significant changes. These findings suggest that functional complex training not only enhances muscular strength but also improves explosive power and agility, which are essential for basketball performance. Therefore, functional complex training can be considered an effective method to enhance the physical fitness and performance of college basketball players.
