연구 목적: 알파미니 로봇을 활용한 놀이지원이 유아의 정서지능과 의사소통능력에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 연구 방법: K시 A유치원 만 5세 유아 30명을 대상으로 실험집단에는 알파미니 로봇을 활용한 놀이지원을 실시하였고, 비교집단에는 놀이주제 활동을 실시하였으며, 자료분석은 SPSS 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계, 신뢰도 분석, 두 독립표본 t검증을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 알파미니 로봇을 활용한 놀이지원이 이루어진 실험집단이 비교집단 유아보다 유아의 정서지능과 의사소통능력에서 유의미한 효과가 있음을 보였다. 이는 알파미니 로봇을 활용한 놀이지원이 유아의 정서지능 및 의사소통능력 발달에 효과적인 교수학습방법으로 적용됨을 시사한다. 결론 및 제언: 알파미니 로봇을 활용한 놀이지원은 유아교육현장에서의 유아 정서 및 의사소통 발달을 위한 AI 활용 방안을 제시하고, 교육적 효과를 토대로 현장 적용의 방향을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of play support using Alpha-Mini robots on young children’s emotional intelligence and communication skills. The experimental group provided play support using Alpha-Mini robots for 30 children aged 5 years in K city A kindergarten, and the comparative group conducted play-topic activities twice a week for 8 weeks, a total of 16 times. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS program, including descriptive statistics, scaling analysis, and independent sample t-test. The experimental group that received play support using Alpha-Mini showed statistically higher scores than the comparison group, demonstrating a significant effect on the emotional intelligence and communication skills of the children. These results suggest that play support using the Alpha-Mini robot can be applied as a positive teaching and learning method for the development of emotional intelligence and communication skills in children. Therefore, play support using Alpha-Mini robot can suggest a way to utilize AI for the emotional intelligence and communication development of children in early childhood education settings, and based on its positive educational effects, it can suggest directions for field application.
