본 연구의 목적은 스포츠산업에 영향을 주는 외부 환경 분석 및 트렌드 분석을 통해서 스포츠산업 환경 변화를 체계적으로 분석하고, 향후 3년간의 스포츠산업 트렌드 전망을 예측함으로써 중장기적인 스포츠산업 정책을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 스포츠산업에 영향을 미치는 거시적인 외부 환경 요인을 도출하기 위해 STEEP 분석, 델파이 조사와 FGD를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 10개의 스포츠산업 트렌드를 도출하였다. 도출된 10개의 스포츠산업 트렌드는 액티브 시니어의 스포츠 소비시장 확대: 시니어 파워 업(power up), 스포츠 융복합 가속화: 스포츠+α, 모두의 스포츠, 스포츠를 통한 지역 경제 활성화, 팬덤 이코노미: 찐팬의 시대, 스포츠 지속가능성 패러다임, 스포츠 잠재수요 폭발에 따른 안전시장 확대, 인공지능 기반 스포츠산업 혁신, 프로스포츠 콘텐츠 시장 변화, 스포츠를 통한 웰니스: 피트니스 플러그 인이 도출되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 정책적 제언을 제시하면 첫째, 스포츠 관련 통계는 정기 생산 통계가 다양하지 않기 때문에 스포츠산업 관련 실태조사 및 신규 통계 생산이 필요하다. 둘째, 공공체육시설의 접근성을 높이며, 다양한 계층의 스포츠 참여 활성화를 위한 지원 방안이 필요하다. 셋째, 관련 부처들과 협의와 협력을 통해 스포츠산업체 지원 방안이 필요하다. 넷째, 법적 근거 마련과 법 개정이 필요하다.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for mid- to long-term sports industry policies by systematically analyzing changes in the sports industry environment through external environmental analysis and trend analysis affecting the sports industry, and predicting the forecast of sports industry trends over the next three years. STEEP analysis, Delphi survey, and FGD were conducted to derive macroscopic external environmental factors affecting the sports industry. As a result of the study, 10 sports industry trends were derived. The 10 sports industry trends derived were active seniors' expansion of the sports consumption market: senior power-up, acceleration of sports convergence: sports+α, vitalization of the local economy through sports, fandom economy: the era of true fans, sports sustainability paradigm, expansion of safety markets due to the explosion of potential demand for sports, artificial intelligence-based sports industry innovation, changes in the professional sports content market, and wellness: fitness plug-in through sports were derived. Policy suggestions based on the research results are presented, first, sports-related statistics do not vary in regular production statistics, so a survey on the actual condition of the sports industry and production of new statistics are required. Second, there is a need for support measures to increase the accessibility of public sports facilities and to promote sports participation of various classes. Third, a plan to support the sports industry is needed through consultation and cooperation with related ministries. Fourth, it is necessary to establish a legal basis and amend the law.
