충북 제천시 동편에 있는 갑산 부근에 분포하는 갑산층 내에 협제된 석회암의 한 층준에서 다수의 방추충을 발견하였으며, 그중 2속 4종의 방추충을 기재하고 동정하였다. 이 중 2속 3종 즉 Aljutovella jangjaensis, Aljutovella gabsanensis, Akiyoshiella irregularis는 신종으로 보고한다. Aljutovella와 Akiyo- shiella는 국내에서 처음 기재 보고된 속이나, 중국과 소련에서는 초기 모스코비안 조에서 보고된 바 있다.

Lots of fusulinids are collected from one horizone of Gabsan Formation at the eastern part of Jecheon city, Chungbuk. By the study of the fusulinids, 4 species belonging to 2 genera are described, illustrated and identified. Of them, 3 species belonging to 2 genera are new; Aljutovella jangjaensis, Aljutovella gabsanensis, and Akiyoshiella irregularis. Aljutovella and Akiyoshiella have even been reported from the early Moscovian stage in China and USSR, though those are the first in Korea.
