본 연구는 국악 교육전공 예비교사들이 인식하는 AI 윤리의 의미와 AI 윤리 교육에 대한 요구를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 2022 개정 교육과정은 미래 사회에 필요한 핵심 역량으로 디지털 리터러시, 인공지능 윤리, 창의적 문제 해결 능력 등을 강조하고 있다. 이에 따라 AI 기술은 교육 전반에서 빠르게 활용되고 있으며, 국악 교육 영역에서도 그 도입 가능성이 점차 확대되고 있다. 그러나 국악이 지닌 문화적 특성과 예술적 본질을 고려한 윤리적 논의는 아직 충분히 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 이러한 배경 속에서 본 연구는 국악 실기 전공의 예비교사 5명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 진행하였으며, 이들이 AI 기술을 어떻게 인식하고, AI 윤리 교육에 대해 어떤 준비가 필요하다고 느끼는지를 질적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 참여자들은 AI 기술이 국악의 정체성과 본질을 훼손할 수 있다는 우려와 함께, 수업의 창의성과 다양성을 확대할 수 있는 교육적 가능성도 함께 인식하고 있었다. 또한, AI 결과물에 대한 무비판적 수용을 경계하며, 교사에게는 비판적 판단 능력과 문화적 해석 역량이 필수적으로 요구된다고 보았다. 특히 국악 교육의 특수성과 실제 수업 현장을 고려한 사례 중심의 AI 윤리 교육이 필요하다는 점을 강조하였다. 본 연구는 국악 교육에서 AI 기술을 윤리적으로 활용하기 위한 방향을 제시함으로써, 향후 예비교사 양성과정과 전통예술 교육의 AI 통합에 기초 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study explores pre-service teachers’ perceptions of AI ethics and their needs for AI ethics education in the context of Korean traditional music education. As the 2022 revised national curriculum emphasizes digital literacy, AI ethics, and creative problem-solving, AI technologies are being rapidly adopted in various educational settings, including traditional music. However, ethical discussions that reflect the cultural specificity and artistic values of Korean traditional music remain insufficient. In this study, in-depth interviews were conducted with five pre-service teachers majoring in traditional Korean instruments, and their perceptions were analyzed using a qualitative approach. Participants expressed concerns about AI distorting the identity and authenticity of traditional music, while also recognizing its potential to promote creativity and diversify teaching methods. They emphasized the need for teachers to develop critical thinking and cultural interpretation skills when using AI tools in class. In particular, the participants called for case-based AI ethics education that reflects real classroom scenarios and the unique context of traditional music. The findings offer practical implications for the ethical integration of AI in traditional music education and provide a basis for developing AI-informed teacher training programs and curricula.
