In this study, 12 Korean high school triple jump athletes (6 in the experimental group and 6 in the control group) were selected and applied a training program to improve their speed in the last five meters to investigate the training effects of the experimental and control groups. Looking at the effectiveness of the experimental group, the record of the last 5m section (t=13.69, p<.001) was significantly shorter than the previous section (t=-14.69, p<.001). And the m/s (t=-14.70, p<.001) of the last 5m section of the help close showed significantly higher speed and jump (t=-5.57, p<.01). The average speed of the experimental group improved by 0.09m/s from 9.04m/s to 9.13m/s after training, but the control group improved by 0.02m/s from 8.89m/s to 8.91m/s. The experimental group improved by 18 cm, while the control group improved by 2 cm. This shows that the faster the speed in the last five meters, the higher the jump record. This speed training is expected to contribute to the development of Korean high school triple jumpers, as the results of the speed training in the last five meters of the assistance given to the experimental group suggest that it helps them improve their jump records.
