연구는 본고는 지하련의 「도정」을 중심으로 카프 해산을 전후로 한, 세계관과 창작 방법의 문제 및 예술의 형상화 과정의 문제, 즉 <제재의 고정화, 작품의 유형화, 창작의 도식화> 문제, 한마디로 프로문학의 공식주의를 얼마나 성공적으로 극복하였는지를 하나하나 검토하였다.
그 결과 「도정」은 첫째, 자기 욕망의 실현 과정을 진솔하게 표현함으로써 극좌주의가 내포할 수 있는 무조건적인 사랑과 헌신적인 이타주의의 가능성을 경계하고 자기애에 기초한 보편적 이타주의의 확장 가능성을 타진하였다.
둘째, 도덕 및 공식주의 및 내부 윤리의 대립, 속물형 인간과 햄릿형 인간의 대비 등을 통해 프로문학의 기계적 공식주의를 일정 부분 극복했다고 평가할 수 있다.
셋째, 「도정」은 소위 리얼리즘과 모더니즘의 회통(會通)에 대한 한 예시로서, 리얼리즘 소설의 일반적 공식과 도식화를 지양하고 격변기를 살았던 청년 지식인의 사적 기억을 공적 역사의 기록으로 승화시켰다. 그 구체적인 방법으로는 시간의 역순행적 구성, 이야기 시간과 서술 시간의 적절한 배분, 3인칭과 인물 시각의 교차서술 등의 방법을 통해서였다.
끝으로 도정 은 이상의 창작방법과 세계관을 통하여 카프문학의 문학사적 실패를 얼마간, 그 취약성을 상당 부분 성공적으로 극복한 작품으로 판단된다.
Focusing on Ji, Ha-ryun's "Dojung", this paper reviewed one by one how successfully it overcame the formalism of proletariat literature, including the world view and creation method before and after the dissolution of KAPF, the problem of art's shaping process, "fixation of sanctions, typification of works, schematicization of creation".
As a result, "Dojung" first warned of the possibility of unconditional love and dedicated altruism that far-leftism can imply by sincerely expressing the realization process of self-desire, and explored the possibility of expanding universal altruism based on self-love.
Second, it can be assessed that the mechanical formalism of proletariat literature has been overcome to some extent through the confrontation of morality, formalism, and internal ethics of the state, and the contrast between snobbed and Hamlet-type humans.
Third, "Dojung" is an example of the so-called communication of realism and modernism, avoiding the general formula and schematicization of realism novels, and sublimating the private memories of young intellectuals who lived in upheaval into records of public history. The specific method was through the reverse sequential composition of time, the proper distribution of story time and narrative time, and the cross-script of the perspective of third person and character.
Finally, "Dojung" is judged to be a work that has successfully overcome the literary and historical failures of KAPF literature for some time and its vulnerability through the above creative methods and worldview.
