문학세계와 문법영역은 서로 다른 차원의 관점으로 연구가 진행되어온 때문에 지금까지 문법요소가 문학적 효과의 기능과 연계되어 해석되는 경우가 드물었다. 이번 연구는 이러한 한계를 조금이나마 극복해보자는 데에서 출발하였다. 이를 위해 정지용의 작품을 대상으로 보조사의 양상과 의미를 분석하고 문법 요소가 작품 감상에 미치는 실제를 분석하였다. 그 결과 보조사는 의미 강화와 주제 강조는 물론 산문의 리듬 생성에도 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이렇게 볼 때 보조사는 문법요소이긴 하나 작가의 의도를 읽을 수 있는 중요한 하나의 지점이며 텍스트 안에서 문법 그 이상의 미적 장치가 된다고도 할 수 있을 것이다. 문학과 문법의 관계는 주안점을 어디에 두느냐에 따라 접근방법은 다르겠지만 최근 국어과의 교육적 적용에서 있어서는 문학과 문법의 통합교육을 지향하고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 이 연구는 문학작품 속 문법요소가 텍스트의 맥락 안에서 보다 내밀한 의미를 담아내고 문법적 지식을 통한 문학 감상이 이해의 정교함을 더해준다는 것을 알아보고자 하였다. 앞으로 문법과 문학의 긴밀한 교류 안에서 이러한 시도가 더 활발해지길 기대해본다.

The literary world and grammar have been studied from different perspectives, which is why grammatical elements have rarely been interpreted in connection with their literary effects. This study aimed to overcome this limitation to some extent. To this end, we analyzed the aspects and meanings of auxiliary particles in Jeong Ji-yong's works and examined how grammatical elements affect the appreciation of the works. As a result, we found that auxiliary particles are effective not only in strengthening meaning and emphasizing themes but also in generating rhythm in prose. In this light, auxiliary particles, while being grammatical elements, can be seen as a crucial point for understanding the author's intentions and can be considered more than just grammar within the text, functioning as an aesthetic device. The relationship between literature and grammar may have different approaches depending on where the focus is placed. However, in recent educational applications of Korean language studies, there is a trend towards integrated education of literature and grammar. From this perspective, this study sought to demonstrate that grammatical elements in literary works convey more intimate meanings within the context of the text, and that literary appreciation through grammatical knowledge adds to the sophistication of understanding. We hope that such attempts will become more active in the future within the close exchange between grammar and literature.
