To assess the contents of local government finance burden on local election, I have examined previous studies. As a result, previous scholars have studied the impact of public funding on corruption. Scholars maintain that replacing private cost with public money would most effectively reduce potentially corrupting influence from interested money. Also, existing literatures notice that candidates decide strategically to receive election cost. But existing literatures have not studied the impact of local government budget burden on local election. This study discusses pitfall associated with local budget burden that can lead local government to accept unrealistic budget inputs. National budget helps local agencies use budgets wisely in achieving the local election. Moreover, having a realistic support of election costs makes for effective local government budget structure, and it increase the probability of a local election's success. In conclusion, this paper presented current difficulties and problems associated with local government budget burden on local election. Some suggestions to improve better research will be followed.
