AI 기술의 진보는 빠르게 노동시장의 수요를 변화시키며 인간의 삶을 방식을 바꾸어 나간다. 인간의 노동은 교육으로부터 공급되며 교육이 변하지 않으면 미래 노동 시장에서 생존과 성장은 어렵다.‘2022 국가교육과정’ 개정은 교육제도나 환경, 교육과정, 교수·학습방법과 평가 방법으로 분석해 보았을 때 산업화 교육모델인 표준화·규격화·대량화·서열화 프레임에서 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 기존 낡은 교육 인식과 제도 및 정책의 변화는 교육서비스나 노동 시장에서 고비용 저효율을 가져올 수밖에 없다. 사회 변화에 선제적으로 교육정책 및 교육과정을 혁신적으로 재설계해야 한다. AI 시대 글로벌 인재양성을 위한 교육정책방향으로 메타버스 사회에서 인간의 존재 인식, 저출산 초고령화 사회 평생학습 체계 구축, 다문화 사회로 사회통합 정책이 기반이 되어야 한다. 교육과정에서는 기초소양 교육 강화로 평생학습 역량을 키울 수 있는 생태계를 만들고, 사람에 대한 공감·협업능력과 AI 리터러시 역량을 강화할 필요가 있다. 이를 통해 자기 주도적이며 문제해결과 협업능력을 갖춘 창의적 인간으로 세계 시민성 함양 갖출 수 있도록 해야 한다.
