This study conducted a survey of 231 college students in the dance department nationwide to determine the impact of SNS usage motivation on dance immersion and dance confidence of college students majoring in dance. The purpose of this study is to verify the usability of SNS in the field of dance and to apply it to dance education. The collected data were subjected to factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis by using the SPSS statistical program. As a result of the study, the relationship orientation and informativeness of the motivation to use SNS had a positive (+) effect on cognitive commitment. In addition, the informativeness had a positive (+) influence on behavioral commitment, and the relationship had a positive (+) influence on external confidence. This study drew implications for practical research at the research institute level and the development of educational programs using SNS to secure the usability of SNS.
