Development of dance convergence education program for free semester system

This study aims to develop a dance convergence education program based on moral subjects, dance movement creation, and visual programs for real-time interactive multimedia content as an opportunity to prove the educational effect of dance in the current situation where dance education can only be implemented through selection and as a springboard to spread dance education within the framework of school education. This program is designed to enable the final round to present the results of the convergence of moral subjects, dance movement creation, and visual programs for real-time interactive multimedia content by learning this learning process step by step while applying the inquiry - creation - presentation - appreciation process as a basic framework for a total of 12 sessions of the 6th round. In the 1st to 3rd rounds, the process of inquiry in which one looks into one's mind while learning the 3 elements of movement one by one is focused on the process of exploration from the 2nd to the 4th, and based on this, from the 5th round, the process of creation and presentation that expresses one's mind is focused on. In the last 6th round, the final presentation using the TD program and the process of appreciation to understand other people's movements can be learned. Convergence education with moral subjects has great educational significance as a learner-centered experiential learning that is reflected in life beyond understanding theoretical knowledge and makes changes, and has the following significance in terms of dance education. First, the development and implementation of thematic dance convergence education programs can serve as a foothold for expanding the base of school dance education in crisis. Second, this dance education program, developed by converging subject topics and technology, is widely used in the free semester system as an educational program suitable for the newly applied 2022 revised curriculum and can be expected to develop dance education as a convergence education. Third, through support projects such as ‘Exploration Life with Arts’, we can increase the degree of participation in the dance field and expect continuous follow- up research through this.
