본 연구는 2인칭 소설의 소통 구조가 상호신체성을 지니고 있음을 메를로-퐁티의 이론과 소설 『소년이 온다』를 통해 분석하여, 상호신체적 독법을 통한 윤리적 소설 읽기 교육의 가능성을 제시하였다. 2인칭 소설은 기존 서사학 이론으로 모두 포괄하기 어려운 수사학적 효과와 독자 반응을 발생시킨다. 이에 본 연구는 2인칭 소설의 독특한 읽기 경험의 근거를 ‘신체’를 통해 주체의 존재 조건을 밝히고, 익명적 주체로서의 감각이 상호의존성을 가능케 한다고 주장한 메를로-퐁티의 ‘상호신체성’에서 찾고자 하였다. 2인칭 소설의 ‘너’라는 호명이 독자를 ‘너’의 위치에 놓이게 함으로써 가역성에 기반한 ‘살’적 운동을 일으키고, 신체적 감각에 기반한 감상을 가능케한다. 이러한 상호신체적 독법의 예시를 보이기 위해 소설 『소년이 온다』를 대상 텍스트로 삼고, ‘익명적 주체 ‘나’와 ‘너’에 기반한 상호신체적 세계 구성’, ‘동시 거주를 통한 상호 얽힘’으로 소설 읽기 과정을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 실제 교육 현장에서 2인칭 소설을 통한 윤리적 소설 읽기를 할 때 필요한 내용을 서사 윤리학의 관점에서 제시하였다. 이러한 연구는 2인칭 소설이 담보하는 윤리적 소설 읽기 체험을 현상학적 이론으로 구조화하고 교육 현장에 적용될 수 있는 윤리적 소설 읽기의 과정을 마련하는 계기가 될 것이다.

This study analyzes the communicative structure inherent in the address of "you" in second-person narratives as based on intercorporeity, drawing on Merleau-Ponty's theory and the novel Human Acts(소년이 온다). It suggests the potential for ethical literary reading education through an intercorporeal reading approach. Second-person narratives produce rhetorical effects and reader responses that are difficult to encompass within existing narrative theories. This study seeks to explain the structure that makes such reading experiences possible through Merleau-Ponty's concept of 'intercorporeity,' which elucidates the conditions of the subject's existence through the body and posits that the sense of being an anonymous subject enables interdependence. The address of 'you' in second-person narratives positions the reader in the place of 'you,' initiating a 'fleshly' movement based on reversibility and enabling a corporeal sense-based appreciation. Through textual analysis, it provides examples of an intercorporeal reading approach, interpreting the text as 'the construction of an intercorporeal world based on the anonymous subjects 'I' and 'you'' and 'intertwining through simultaneous habitation.' By doing so, it aims to present the necessary content for teaching ethical reading of second-person narratives in actual educational settings. This research will structure the ethical reading experience guaranteed by second-person narratives through phenomenological theory and provide a framework for implementing ethical literary reading processes in educational contexts.
